Cocktail for Mac OS X: Helps Haitian relief efforts

You may have been following the Haitian relief efforts through this week and wondering what you can do to help. While most readers would prefer to give directly, there is other ways you can help when buying products online.

One company – Maintain – have decided to do what they can by promoting their Cocktail utility for Mac OS X, and help the Haitian relief efforts at the same time. They want to help repair the damage the Haiti earthquake has caused, and help give aid to those that desperately need it.

Maintain will temporarily – Saturday until Sunday – give customers a “30% discount on all licenses of Cocktail” and during this period, they will give 87% of all the revenues to charities. This is a pretty good deal; you can help the Haiti earthquake relief and get something in return.

In Maintain’s press release they said that the donations will be split equally between UNICEF, Save the Children, Red Cross, and Medecins Sans Frontieres / Doctors Without Borders. You can read more details on
