2010 FIFA World Cup Standings: iPhone App

The excitement of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa has not been as high as I would have thought, this could be a mixture of a number of things — your team getting off to a poor start or the constant noise from those Vuvuzelas. Anyway, that’s enough of the negative, the tournament is now a week old so now it is time to look at those standings — the fastest and easiest way to do this would be with an iPhone app.

We have covered a number of iPhone applications, but we seem to have missed out AP’s 2010 World Cup Coverage app. Once downloaded and installed to your Apple smartphone you will be able to keep track of your team’s standings throughout the game.

Other features include: live game scores, information on venues, latest photos and videos from each game and player profiles. Although it is the standings feature that will appeal to football / soccer fans the most.

Upgrade to version 1.1 to take advantage of improved new browsing, bug fixes and increased performance. You will be pleased to know that the AP 2010 World Cup Coverage app is free, more detail can be found on iTunes.
