It seems as if NEC are trying to cover every angle when it comes to their projector releases, earlier this month we introduced you to their NP2200 and NP1200 projectors, and now they have unveiled their NP510WS and NP610S projectors.
Their NP2200 and NP1200 projectors that we spoke about last week were regarded as long-throw projectors, meaning they could project a sharp image from a long distance away, the NP510WS and NP610S projectors we are talking about today are short-throw projectors, this basically means they can project a large image in a small room (or from a short distance).
Both projectors offer a lamp life of up to 5000 hours (when in eco mode), they also both offer a contrast ratio of 600:1. The NP510WS supports a native resolution of 1280×800 and a maximum resolution of 1600×1200, whereas the NP610S supports a native resolution of 1024×768 and a maximum resolution of 1600×1200.
