That is absolute right. I got the exact experience. I made a lot of phone calls and no help. I still can not set up scanning through ethernet. Ther is no instructions.

    The tech support is terrible

    • I would keep pressing XEROX for a satisfactory solution. My printer was faulty and had to have all new boards installed and is now printing well using ethernet both wired and remotely.
As yet I have not tried scanning and the fax needs setting up as the technicians who finally called did not know how to to do it ???!!! How weird is that ???

  • Hello! You have shown some great awareness about Multi-function Printers. I liked the posts and blogs you made as it influenced me to purchase it. I am Richards Myther, Accounts manager.

I have just read your comments above. I received my printer early yesterday and so far do not agree with your comments.

I have spent the last 15 hours trying to connect the printer vie ethernet cable with no success in spite of my reasonable knowledge of pcs (I am a pc Technician) I spent an hour on the technical helpline with a fairly pleasant but incompetent Foreign lady who appeared to have absolutely no knowledge of the printer model or its applications and was no help whatsoever, she said she would need help by her “software experts” and promised to ring me back in 10 minutes, that was 7 hourds ago.Whilst I have successfully connected via USB I am still unable to set up using the Ethernet connection and If I do not receive a satisfactory result from xerox by tomorrow ,the machine will be returned to my suppliers. So far this machine has a big thumbs down from me and I will not be recommending it to anyone.
