News on Call of Duty 6 Modern Warfare 2: PS3 and Xbox 360
Today we have some news on Call of Duty 6 Modern Warfare 2 that will be on a few games systems, although most importantly the Sony PS3 and Xbox 360.
The video below shows some rumored details about the next Call of Duty game, and the video claims that Infinity Ward leaked this information. The video talks about the weapons in COD6 and also claims that vehicles will be in MW2.
Some of the weapons that are claimed to return include the AK47 and M4, M40 and ACOG damage boost will be fixed. Although it’s claimed that the scorpion, P90, M21, R700, G3, and G360 will not return.

As cool as some of these rumours are, i think they are just that. It’s way too early to know what will be in the final game, although its fun to speculate.

Well I hope none of that’s true, it sounds like IW have run out of ideas if that’s the case.
Vehicles would suck royally (as they do in COD5), what made COD4 great was it’s balance, vehicles are never balanced against infantry in any game.
The rumoured game modes are nothing to get excited about. Returning old maps? Sheesh, is this a rush job or something, no time to build new ones? Weapons changes are good. All perks remain is really bad, they need to remove stopping power and Juggernaut (and ideally martyrdom too) and start thinking about some newer ideas there. They should allow significant weapons upgrading and configuring too rather than only two upgrades per weapon (I’d sooner spend time upgrading weapons than upgrading my rank).
Anyhow this list is probably just as much some random guys thoughts on this as mine so I guess there’s no need to quit on the series yet.

For online a PS3 360 platform crossover would be nice. sick of not being able to play friends because they either have 360 or PS3. Unite the two.

I think it would be great if they come up with new coD6 but they have to come up with good story and better guns and if they make it co op that wont be very good. I think keeping the game similar to cod4 it would be great. thank you all….

i think der shud be no vehicls, better newer maps, non of the same perks, if not definatly not matrydm, new wepons but stil all the old 1s so theres more variety but stil familiar ground, good story, no noobin fame frowers ffs!!!!, no noob tube, more things like helicopters fer difrent maps, eg if ders an indoor map u sould get lyk a spec ops team an instead of it endin at 7 kills it sould hav more or start agen at 10 kills or sumtin an also difrent cams for snipers like if ders a snow maps (heres hopein) ders should be like white an blue cam with snow over it and gun camo like in “all gilhied up” in the cod 4 campaign.

i dissagree with omgboi, i think there are far 2 few co-op games i mean whats the point in adding 4 controllers for every console when there is far 2 few games using co-op slitscreen and adding co-op adds alot more depth to a game for friends that want 2 play together, if you dissagree then its probly cos u have no friends.
