What this button does is allow you, the player, to add up to 4 members of your preference, including yourself to a group and then queue up for dungeon instances despite what realm you are all playing on.

Obviously, you must be a part of the same faction for this to work, but it should be welcomed for players who have friends on different servers who wish to play together from time to time.

When Battle.net was first launched last year, World of Warcraft players were promised a wealth of new features and options that would allow much more social interaction than just adding character names to your friends list from the same server.

It is hard to imagine a time when this, and the random dungeon feature didn’t exist. Players are no longer required to spam the chat with messages inviting players to do specific dungeons, and can now do this as easily as pressing two buttons.

With the new feature added, which Blizzard say will be free while the testing phase is finished, players can socially interact and play with players regardless of realm, although Blizzard also say that it will eventually become a premium feature. In the official WoW blog, Blizzard state that “This system is designed to make it easier for real-life friends to play together.”

As the test comes to a close, Blizzard will reveal any costs that will be associated with the service, but no word on how long this ‘free’ test will last.

Blizzard did a similar thing a little while ago, when they made it functional for players to chat within their guild, even if they were not playing. This was part of the Remote Auction House application that now requires you to pay a monthly fee to use.

Battle.net has come a long way since it was first conceived way back when, but with more and more services like this appearing, it can only lead to bigger and better things.

He does this not by cheating or by exploiting a weakness in the game’s design, but instead through solid work at gaining XP through other means. Instead of charging into battle, Everbloom would turn away and instead pursue a long campaign in picking herbs, digging up bones and exploring the wilderness.

When asked about his accomplishment he proudly states that “each level was a major achievement!” and that “If you like to explore, and enjoy a challenge I really REALLY recommend this.” His story goes to show that with a lot of determination, patience and time on your hands, you too could progress through World of Warcraft by using his method.

So in conclusion, Everbloom has proven that there is now a new way to play the game. You can go about collecting XP the traditional, daring way or take a more laid-back approach… the choice is yours.

The idea behind the new gear sets is divided into several zones that you level up in Cataclysm, meaning that we get gear that does not look out of place when going from one zone to the next. The only way that it changes is when we reach new leveling milstones, e.g. from 20-30, we will have one gear set, then from 30-40 we will have another.

Thank god for WoW Joystiq, who have gone to the liberty of providing us with images of every set you can expect to see from 1-60. You can see these below.

Just a shame they haven’t changed the gear sets from Outland and upwards yet…

Earlier on, we covered a little guide of all graveyard locations that you could visit to get your achievement, but if you are more interested in the Macabre Marionette, all you need to do is the following: -

First, purchase some Simple Flour from any cooking supplies NPC and some Ice Cold Milk from most Food & Drink vendor’s or usually any Innkeeper.

Next, go to any of your faction’s friendly graveyards, and standing next to Catrina (the NPC you /dance with to get your achievement) you should see another NPC called Chapman who sells the Recipe: Bread of the Dead. Buy the recipe and learn it by right-clicking it from your inventory.

Now you must create Bread of the Dead by using the Ghostly Cooking Fire that should be next to Catrina.

Next, buy an Orange Marigold or a Bouquet of Orange Marigolds from Chapman (the NPC next to Catrina) then use it by right clicking it in your inventory.

You should now start seeing ghosts surrounding you in the graveyard, with one of them offering you the quest ‘The Grateful Dead’. All you have to do now if give that conjured bread to the ghost and viola, you now have your Macabre Marionette!

First and foremost, you probably want to get yourself the Dead Man’s Party achievement, which will grant you the ability to become a skeleton and also give you the Honor the Dead buff.

This can be done by dancing with Catrina during the Day of the Dead event (select the NPC and do the /dance command), who can be found at all capital city graveyards. A list of capital city’s can be found via this link.

For those of you who are unsure of the graveyard locations, we will point you in the right direction.

Neutral – The only two neutral graveyards are in the safe haven’s of Dalaran and Shattrah.

Dalaran’s graveyard resides next to the Violet Citadel instance portal, in the grass next to where the Underbelly entrance resides. The Shattrah graveyard is located just outside to the Easy Gate.

Alliance – Ironforge – Graveyard can be found to the east of the entrance up a small hill. Stormwind – Graveyard can be found north of Goldshire on the road to Stormwind on the south side of the road. Darnassus – Graveyard located to the right when entering the city from Dolanaar, near Craftsman’s Terrace. Exodar – Graveyard is just south of Azure Watch.

Horde – Silvermoon City – Going from Silvermoon go west past The Dead Scar before you get to Falcon Square. Thunder Bluff – Graveyard can be found right next to the north lift of the Middle Rise. Orgrimmar – Can be found left of the road heading south right past the boar farm.Undercity – Graveyard is located inside the courtyard of the city right across from the chamber for the Orb of Translocation.

But remember folks, Day of the Dead only runs from November 1 until November 2, so get those wanted achievements done as soon as possible.
