This was released after Apple made a lot of Verizon customers very happy by releasing a version of the iPhone on their network. Now there is news of a white iPhone 4 64GB rumored, but with this in mind could this mean the iPhone 5 be next year?

An article over at T3.com by Luke Johnson is reporting that a leaked memo is predicting a 64GB white iPhone is only a matter of weeks away. A prototype of the device has already been leaked earlier this year, and now this internal memo has surfaced from a third party reseller.

It is believed the 64GB version will only be available in white as there is a line on the memo which says “only the white iPhone 4 32 and 64GB”. Many consumers would like to have an iPhone with increased storage, but could this mean the iPhone 5 being delayed further than we expected.

Most of the talk recently has indicated the next iPhone won’t be available before September, but if another version of the iPhone 4 is on its way will Apple be holding it back until next year? Even though this year’s WWDC event is billed as a software event we might get some indication of when the next iPhone will make an appearance.

We recently had an article looking at reasons to buy an iPhone now instead of waiting for the next handset. But the iPhone 5 popularity is above the white iPhone say users.

Beatweek Magazine is reporting that despite the recent release of the white iPhone 4, many users are holding off for the launch of the iPhone 5. One reader is annoyed that Apple has even released the white iPhone 4 now with the next version not too far away.

Others still have the iPhone 3GS but skipped the current version as they didn’t like the design, and are waiting to see what the iPhone 5 will be like. Some are even going to buy the white iPhone 4 and still get the new version when it becomes available.

There have been many people waiting for the white iPhone 4 to become available since it was first announced last year. But coming out just a few months from the next iPhone will give some a difficult decision to make.

Stores are selling out quickly, which does come as a surprise considering the 4th-generation iPhone is now 10 months old. This shows to prove how much the white version was wanted.

Sales of Apple’s handset had already been good, but the White iPhone 4, which was released in April 28, has given it a fresh injection of high sales. Mobile Today reports that some stores are now starting to run low on stock, but do not worry, as they are still available. Stores have started to share their stocks, so they do not find themselves running out completely.

Thankfully the Apple Store still has plenty of White iPhone 4 handsets, and will be delivered to you within two working days. Sales are no way as high as they were when the black model came out last June, but the new color is certainly outselling most other new handsets on the market.

Consumers were a little shocked when they learned that the White iPhone 4 was actually a little thicker than its black counterpart, which is all down to the coating used. We have to wonder how long sales will stay strong, considering the fact that the iPhone 5 will be released sometime this summer?

The white iPhone 4 has been opened up and the photos show that there is a different camera lens and proximity sensor, Apple has never revealed this, therefore we guess that there are no significant changes brought by this, perhaps the proximity sensor had to be changed to cope with the different material used for the white casing.

We are not sure how in-depth the white iPhone 4 teardown went, therefore there may be more significant changes yet to be revealed, if we find out anything interesting we will be sure to keep you posted.

Many people have decided they still wanted the device and got their hands on one. It didn’t take long for eagle eyed consumers to notice, but with the iPhone 4 why is the white version thicker?

Peter Pachal from PCMag is reporting that the white version is 0.2mm thicker than the black one. Recently Apple CEO Steve Jobs and Senior Vice President Phil Schiller have explained why the white iPhone 4 was delayed.

The white casing of the handset caused a variety of issues with the devices sensors amongst other things. Apple obviously had to make some design changes with the white version, but on Apple’s own spec page for the devices they are both listed as being 9.3 mm in depth.

To many people the slight increase in thickness will either go unnoticed or won’t be of any concern. But it may cause some issues with cases. If you have a flexible case like Apple’s bumper it may well fit, but if you have something more rigid it could be a problem.

Many consumers will be glad to finally get hold of a white iPhone 4, and 0.2mm isn’t exactly a big difference. Did the extra thickness of the white iPhone 4 bother you?

Before many potential customers wanted to purchase the white version of the handset, but after all this time now the White iPhone 4 release date arrives is it too late?

The next version of the iPhone may be delayed to later this year, but even though that could be a few months away is it worth signing up for a new two year contract now? In white the iPhone 4 certainly looks impressive but is it too late for consumers to buy large amounts of the device. They may have already bought something else after getting fed up with waiting.

Many Verizon customers will have only recently got hold of the iPhone 4, so won’t be able to upgrade for a while yet, and by then the next version of the iPhone will be available. Now today with have good news and can confirm the device is finally coming following the Apple announcement for the white iPhone 4 release date.

The company has finally ended months of speculation and rumor by officially announcing the illustrious handset will be available from tomorrow. Yes you heard it right you will be able to get an iPhone 4 in a gorgeous white finish from tomorrow.

It will be available on Apple’s online store and at its retail stores, as well as authorized resellers. You will also be able to pick one up from AT&T and Verizon Wireless stores. The handset will be available in the US, Europe, and a whole host of other countries. For the full list see the press release here.

This announcement further strengthens the likelihood of a later than usual release of the next iPhone, as the company only released the handset for Verizon customers recently. Despite the long delay for the white handset, expect to see many consumers rushing out to buy one.

The device was constantly delayed and for a while we didn’t think the handset would ever come out. But with the Verizon and white iPhone 4, is this evidence that Apple had a plan all along?

The White iPhone 4 is finally coming out for consumers, we told you a few days ago that deliveries were starting to arrive in the US, and one lucky Vodafone customer in the UK even got one early. It is thought that Verizon customers will be getting the device, and retailers such as Best Buy will also be stocking it.

With this latest release why would Apple bring out the iPhone 5 in the next couple of months? We have been reporting for a while that it looks like any new iPhone won’t be available until September at the earliest and this is looking more likely now.

After the launch of the Verizon model and now the white version, it wouldn’t make sense for Apple to bring another new model out in the summer as they normally do. Could have Apple been planning to do things this way ever since the iPhone 4 was first announced last June?

There is a chance their plans changed after the white iPhone was delayed, and a handset was made available for Verizon. What do you think? Was this the way Apple planned things to go?

We already know so much about this handset, as it is now 10 months old – well the black one. Normally we would not even bother with an unboxing like this, but the white model has been hyped so much that it is finally good to see it released.

There are only one or two minor changes from what we can see, such as the proximity sensor, but it seems that they have left the antenna in the same place as the current GSM version. This phone has been a long time coming; we just hope that it has been worth the wait?

Now that the White iPhone has been released, there is no way that the iPhone 5 will be released in late June, so rumors of a September launch are looking more likely. Having said that, Apple could still share a little information on the fifth-generation iPhone at WWDC 2011 – just don’t expect a release a few days later.

We have enjoyed talking about the White iPhone 4 since last June, now we will have to move onto the next thing; so when will the iPhone 5 be released and will there be a white version from day one? We still hope that Apple will make other colors available, such as red or blue – now that could help to increase sales even more.

Some fresh intel has revealed that Best Buy will also be stocking up on the elusive White model.

An image obtained by Engadget shows a new inventory screenshot from Best Buy which clearly states that they will be stocking the 32GB White iPhone 4 on April 27th. We’re guessing that they’ll also have a 16GB version available, although it does seem strange that Apple hasn’t made any official announcement, since the 27th is just 24 hours away.

This isn’t the first time either that we’ve seen the April 27th date associated with the White iPhone 4 and it also falls right in the midst of Apple’s Tweet by Phil Schiller that the White iPhone would be available this Spring.

As we mentioned above though, it will be interesting to see just what the demand for the White version is like this time around. Every current iPhone owner on the planet should know by now that the iPhone 5 could be coming towards the end of the year, so it maybe a decision you live to regret if you decide to still get a White iPhone 4.
