If for some reason you have yet to own a Nintendo Wii in your gaming ‘career’ so far, now may be the best time to do so as we’re hearing that one US retailer will be giving consumers the chance to own a limited edition console in Blue, which hasn’t been seen anywhere up until now.

The most traditional colors for the Nintendo Wii are white and black as most of you will be aware, but Walmart has announced that during their holiday sales this year, they will be offering a limited edition Blue console for a very tempting price, for 24 hours only.

If you head to places like Amazon, you’ll see that they have the Black Nintendo Wii Mario Kart bundle listed for a reasonable $149.99, while you’ll also find a Red Nintendo Wii bundle available for $212.99 as well. Walmart are going one step further though as usual, by offering this slick blue console for under $100 ($99.96 to be exact) this Thursday starting at 10pm and lasting until 10pm the following day – Black Friday.

Usually, Walmart’s deals are shrouded in mystery prior to Thanksgiving, but this year Walmart are changing their strategy and have even set up a Twitter page to inform bargain hunters about incoming deals – just like this Tweet for example showing the Blue Nintendo Wii. Here’s a picture of the console so you can see what it will look like – very sexy in our opinion and we have a feeling you’ll probably agree.

Don’t forget that Nintendo has just released The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword as well, so this is another incentive to pick this one and play the latest game in what is one of the best loved franchises in gaming history. The game has been getting stunning reviews as you would expect from a Zelda game, so we definitely recommend you take time out from the likes of MW3, BF3 and Skyrim to give Skyward Sword some love.

If you are interested in this deal, make sure you get to Walmart well before 10pm as you just know that these are going to be in high demand. Let us know if you are planning to queue up for one.

If you only own a PS3 or PC and have always thought about getting an Xbox 360, the upcoming 2011 Black Friday sales may be the perfect time to get one as we’re hearing that Walmart will be selling a $200 Xbox 360 4GB Kinect bundle.

We can tell you that this deal is pretty amazing, since the current price is $299 on places like Amazon at the moment. Not only are Walmart knocking off $100 from the final price, they will also be throwing in a free $50 gift card as well to sweeten the deal further.

The package contains a 4GB console with the Kinect software bundled with it. You’ll get a copy of Kinect Adventures to play, and one controller. The actual price is $199.96, making this easily one of the best Black Friday deals this year and probably the best deal you’ll find on a new Xbox 360 console as well. You can always count on Walmart to go one step further when it comes to cutting prices and they have definitely delivered here.

Will you be joining the Microsoft family by buying this $200 Xbox 360 or are you happy with your current PS3 or PC and prefer to save the cash for something else instead? Let us know what you plan to do. You’ll find the rest of Walmart’s gaming deals at their website.

For those of you who are looking for a new, affordable laptop to buy during the Black Friday 2011 holidays this year, you may be interested in this particular offering from HP. Their 15.6-inch AMD 2000-239WM packs some reasonable specs and could be suited for those that just want a portable computer around the house.

While there are obviously far more expensive laptops available on the market, this one will set you back around $300-400, unless you find it available at a special price from a retailer offering a discount on it during the holidays.

We can tell you that laptop comes equipped with an AMD Dual-Core E-350 Accelerated Processor with 3GB of RAM on top. You’ll be able to handle a decent level of graphics performance as well, as it also comes equipped with a AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics card.

Other specs include a 320GB hard drive, a carrying weight of just 5.5 pounds and of course a 15.6-inch inch LED high-definition widescreen display to enjoy everything on. Laptops are getting cheap by the day at the moment and you can bet that eagle-eyed consumers will be waiting to see what laptops will be discounted this year as part of the annual holiday sales.

If you’re interested in picking one of these up, you can find a detailed specs list here, including information on battery life.

If you are looking for a bargain before the Black Friday 2011 sales kick off this year, then we have something which you may be interested in. As we told you previously, Walmart are starting their sales early, but one item that we didn’t discuss is a $98 Emerson 19-inch HDTV.

Yeah, you heard it correctly, just $98. You can always count on Walmart for some crazy deals and this TV is a good example of that. If you’re looking for a secondary TV for the kitchen, spare room or even your children then feast your eyes on Emerson’s LC190EM2 HDTV.

Is it part of Walmart’s Super Saturday Sales that kick off this week and it will only be available to buy until Nov 5th, when the deals will end. Main features of this TV include a 16:9 LCD panel with a 1366 x 768 resolution, a built-in digital tuner 800:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a eco button to save energy on brightness settings and thankfully, a single HDMI cable.

It means that you’ll still be able to enjoy crisp PS3 and Xbox 360 content on this $98 TV, so this really is a good deal to be had this week – you can bet that stocks are going to run out pretty quick once the bargain hunters take note of this offer. This TV is just one of many items available during Walmart’s Saturday sale, you can check out a slick visual guide over at Walmart’s Facebook App which lets you ‘quick view’ all of the items, some of which we already mentioned earlier on this week such as a Sanyo 42-inch TV, as well as a Vizio 42-inch LED TV.

There’s also some good gaming deals on offer, and plenty of other electronics that you can pick up for cheap. Head to Walmart’s Facebook page here to see the deals for yourself. Does this $98 TV from Emerson interest you or not?

As you may already know by now Walmart recently cemented a partnership with Vudu and has begun a video streaming service that offers customers the ability to stream rented movies. The service was already a successful one with Vudu running solo but with the backing of the retailing giants Walmart they are now a threat to other similar services on offer such as Netflix.

It seems the next step for the newly formed team to take is to start bringing rented movies over to the world of mobile devices. According to CBS News that’s exactly what they have begun doing beginning with the iPad. That’s right; users of the service will now be able to stream rented movies to their Apple device.

What’s most interesting about this news is the video company’s decision to stream their content via the browser on the tablet rather than have a dedicated application for the Vudu streaming service. By doing this it allows them to avoid Apple’s notorious restrictions that they have in place in the App Store while at the same time avoiding any excess charges.

The downside to the service on the iPad is similar to the PC issues where videos are restricted to one standard resolution and Disney videos are prohibited due to licensing concerns. The company aims to continue to expand across other platforms in order to establish themselves as a successful video streaming service. There are already ways to use the service on the iPhone if you so wished, however the UI is not optimized for it yet, which means the quality will not be as great, but if it means you get to stream movies on the go surely a little quality sacrifice is worth it, right?

Will you be using Vudu on your iPad? What’s more important to you, accessibility or quality?

Walmart is the latest company to venture into the world of video streaming, and you do not need two guesses for whom they are trying to compete with. Netflix is the big player in this market, but the retail giant has the might and the funds to make them a serious threat, as well as going one better than them in one key area.

The Walmart website is currently down, with a message that reads “Walmart.com Scheduled Maintenance.” This could mean many things, but it seems a coincidence to us, so once up with can expect this new service to be live later today. The two have been partners in this business since last year, but will be the first time that Walmart has offered the service on their website.

Retail giant Walmart is now offering customers the ability to rent streaming movies on its website. This latest venture will be a partnership with Vudu, which already has a great movie rental service. With the two working side-by-side they will both benefit in a big way. Walmart will gain an entrance into this market, and Vudu will now be able to have a much larger presence with such a big name behind them.

We mentioned earlier that this new service will go one better than Netflix, what we mean by this is how you will now be able to get new DVD releases on the same day to stream online. Pricing will be $1 to $5.99 for a movie. You will notice that this is very similar to the pricing model of Apple TV, so means that there will be no unlimited subscription service.

Sticking with the Apple theme, you will also be able to buy them as well, but this will be in a physical format instead. Remember that you will need a decent Broadband connection in order to have uninterrupted movie streaming – something that is still an issue for many consumer in parts of the US. However, service is improving, but not as much as you would think.

You will notice that offering an online copy and a DVD/Blu-ray copy has become a popular choice over the past year, something that Netflix is unable to offer. However, once you purchase your physical copy from Walmrt you will also be able to access Vudu to stream your online version as well. This is perfect if you wish to watch the movie in your living room, and then allow the kids to view it online in their bedrooms.

HTC have been enjoying some recent success in the smartphone market lately with their HTC Desire. The company will be hoping for the same success with their latest super smartphone the HTC Sensation 4G.

We previously brought you news that the device will be carried by AT&T following its FCC filing and how it recently went up for pre-order at Carphone Warehouse. The UK release is expected to be June 20th, though according to today’s news it is already on sale at Walmart.

This comes from an article at Android Community, which features images that were reportedly taken at a Walmart in Texas. The two readers that that sent the pictures in have apparently already picked up two of the devices for the very low price of $148.88, claiming the manager had to check the system to see if it was ok to sell them.

The pictures reveal the HTC Sensations with their receipts and boxes, though it is unclear whether they are on offer through contract or not. Head on over to your local Walmart now to see if you’re as lucky as these other readers and grab your device early.

Check out the images for yourself by clicking the link above. Were you as lucky when you visited your local Walmart? Let us know.

As expected Steve Jobs didn’t reveal a new iPhone 5 yesterday at the WWDC event. The device is not thought to be revealed during the rest of the event either, but that hasn’t stopped the iPhone 4 price being dropped at Walmart.

Until the end of the month you can now pick up a 16GB iPhone 4 for $147 at Walmart. This is over $50 off the normal price but still requires that you sign up for a two year contract, according to an article on AppleInsider. The offer which started yesterday before the WWDC event had even begun covers both the AT&T and Version models in black and white.

It is looking highly likely that we won’t see a new version of the iPhone before September of this year, so the deal may be enough to tempt some consumers. This is not the first time the iPhone 4 has been discounted, late last year a similar price cut was offered by Radio Shack which saw the chain quickly sell out of the model.

Walmart first began selling the iPhone 3GS in some of its stores back in 2008, and have since added the iPhone 4 and iPad to its lineup. Will this price cut tempt you to buy an iPhone 4?

With the release date for the HP TouchPad imminent, we thought we would look at the HP TouchPad accessories and review the price list that has started to appear on the Walmart website. Other online and brick and mortar stores are now gearing up for the big push, and the winner will not only be Hewlett Packard, but the consumer as well.

We still have yet to get a precise release date, but the best guess is next month, and Walmart will be selling the 32GB HP TouchPad for $599, which as you know is the same as the iPad 2 equivalent. It will certainly be interesting to see how HP will fair in the tablet battle – one that Apple is winning by a huge margin?

When consumers order their new TouchPad they will also be on the lookout for accessories, and the Touchstone Dock/Stand is the main one they will have their eye on. The price for this will be $79.88; we know that this is a lot to pay for a stand, but just remember that this stand also features inductive charging technology.

Other accessories include the webOS Bluetooth keyboard, which will cost you $69.88, AC charger for $29.88 and finally a TouchPad case for $49.88. According to Pre Central, Wal-mart could take shipment of the devices by next week, so we could see a HP TouchPad released as early as June 1st.

Are you excited about the release of the HP TouchPad?

If you a resident in the UK and have lots of unwanted tech just lying around gathering dust, a new avenue has just became available for you to get shot of it and earn some money in the process. Wal-Mart owned Asda has now launched an electrical gadget trade-in service.

What Hi-Fi Sound and Vision are reporting the new service promises not to be beaten on by price by Boots, Envirofone, Mazuma, Sainsbury’s and Tesco. Consumers will be able to trade in old cell phones, MP3s, digital cameras, sat-navs, and handheld games consoles. With the price promise if you can prove the price given by Asda was not the highest within 24 hours, Asda will pay you the difference.

From next month consumers will be able to trade in larger goods such as games consoles, laptops and tablets. Freepost Jiffy bags will be provided in Asda stores for consumers to post their goods off. You can go to the online page for the service now and get instant prices for your old tech.

The company says there are around eleven million unwanted digital cameras and nine million old PCs, just sitting around not being used. A working Sony PSP will get you £15.01 and a Nintendo DS Lite fetches £6.01.

Do you have much unwanted tech?
