Vodafone have finally launched Vodafone Music, this new service allows customers to buy music anytime anyplace. Vodafone Music allows customers to preview songs, then if they like the track they can then download it direct to their mobile.
Once you have downloaded the track to your mobile, you are then able to play the song immediately through the music player on your mobile phone.
Vodafone is already included on Vodafone Live handsets, and it is available to download via Vodafone Live for other handsets. The new music service is fully integrated with Vodafone Live Music Shop and is powered by Real Networks.
Vodafone Music has a smart search option, this means that the user do not have to put in the full title of the track, artist or name. Another great feature is how you are able to transfer a previously purchased track from one handset to another.
On average a single will cost £0.99 with an album costing £7.99. For more information visit Vodafone Music.
Vodafone will sell Apple’s iPhone in 10 countries: UK and Germany miss out

Its being widely reported that Vodafone will start selling the Apple iPhone in ten countries from the second half of 2008, while we have no exact date, we do know that the countries include Turkey, South Africa, New Zealand, Portugal, India, Italy, Greece, Egypt, Czech Republic and Australia. Customers in these countries are more lucky than Germany and the UK, as Vodafone will not sell the iPhone there because of an exclusive agreement that Apple made with T-Mobile and O2.
When I brought my iPhone it was in the UK with O2, although it did not bother me that I could only use it on one network, more choice is always better. The question that is on many people’s minds is what iPhone will it be?
The hopes for people in some of these countries will be the 3G iPhone, but no official word has been made on this subject. The price and whether the iPhones will be unlocked has not been confirmed. This is all good news for Apple, as currently the iPhone is sold only in Austria, Ireland, Germany, France, United States and the UK. Do you think any of these countries will get the 3G iPhone on launch?
