Google’s Lively vs IBM Metaverse and Second Life Virtual World

There is a new player in the Virtual World game and this time it comes from Google in the shape of something Lively, how will this new service from Google compare to IBM’s Metaverse and Second Life?

Second Life may not be the best designed Virtual World but it was at the right place at the right time, it became very popular fast and also received a lot of bad press.

The business and enterprise use of Second Life has been clear all along, although we have seen vandalism in Second Life just like you would in the real world.

IBM’s virtual world engine was designed with something different in mind and is aimed for corporate use, it can provide what Second Life cannot and that’s real secure conversation for businesses.
