The three are as follows, Dog tries to bring pool indoors, World-record blob launch and Cutest argument ever. The first is with a dog that looks as though he has had enough of the heat, so brings it upon himself to try to drag the plastic pool from the garden to indoor. What makes it even funnier is that there is still water in the pool and the gap in which he tries to squeeze it though is about half the size it needs to be.

Next up is for you adrenaline junkies, as this sees a group of guys from Switzerland setting a new record for a blob jump. In the video that we have embedded for you below you will see how the blob is launched 17 meters into the air. You can only imagine what is going through the guys mind when he is soaring 17 feet into the air with him getting ever closer to that cold water.

The funniest videos are always made up of kids and animal, so we could not leave out the video where we see two young children having an argument. It’s like watching an old married couple, the girl is having a right go at the boy, but he looks to have it all under control – just look at the way he is leaning on the doorframe.

These are our favorite three viral videos for August 2011, but what are yours?

4 of the best videos that come to mind are the “Break-dancing gorilla,” “Kid wants his nose back,” “Unbelievable soccer goal, ” and “Anchor Cracks Up At Fart Story.” There are many more, but these are just four that have been the biggest sensation on the Internet over the past month. Ok, so we know that they will never be as big as the “Old Spice Guy” but these were all natural and not thought up.

The video of the dancing gorilla is just awesome; maybe they should it as a sort of promo for the upcoming movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The name of the ape is Zola, and you can clearly see the fun that the animal is having. This is not something that can be trained, and was just something that came natural to Zola. The spinning around in a circle is cute, but when he starts stamping his feet on the water, it’s just a classic.

Next we have the video where the father pretends to take his kids nose, which is one that we can all relate to. I cannot remember how many times my dad did it to my brother and I. He even rubbed out back out once; I can still here the scream in my head. Watching the video made me think here we go, but when he starts to cry you cannot help but fell sorry for the child. When he gets his nose back we are shocked at just how well mannered he is, not many kids like that around now.

The third video is of the English football/soccer teams unbelievable goal by the goalkeeper of Earthquakes. He kicked the ball from his goal and the ball went all the way down the field and made it past the West Brom keeper. It was just amazing to watch, but not if you are a West Brom fan, the shock on the players faces is priceless.

“Christine O’Donnell’s Bewitching Debut” is yet another example of a video going viral, and is nice to see that it has a Halloween theme. OK, that is not true, but she starts by saying that she is not a witch, like what some people have been calling her. Watch her cardboard performance here.

I was shocked when I watched “Old Spice Dan”, why do so many people try to recreate what Isaiah Mustafa has done? Mustafa just screams cool, Dan Freilich will just make you scream – it has to be seen to be believed. See it here.

We now know that with the age of viral videos, Politicians can now get their message across to a much broader audience – as can brands such as Old Spice, Coke and others.

There have been a huge number of viral videos since then, and although they have done well – they have not matched the success of Evian’s. I remember the first time that I saw it; I just could not stop laughing.

The video had been on YouTube for a while before it made it on to our TV screens. It must have been a no brainer for Evian to decide to go from YouTube to TV after it broke the world record for the most viewed advertisement video online.

Old Spice must have seen the potential in viral videos, and since then has produced a number of successful videos featuring the Old Spice Guy. Most of these are very good and cleverly thought out – but they do not come close to seeing a bunch of babies on roller-skates.
