As reported from BGR, the refund will start next month and according to Verizon themselves, they have wrongly charged 15 million users for internet access.

What this means to you, is that you are in for a $2-6 refund on your next bill, it could be even more depending on your circumstances. Here is a portion of Verizon’s lengthy statement:

”In October and November, we are notifying about 15 million customers, through their regular bill messages, that we are applying credits to their accounts due to mistaken past data charges. We will mail former customers refund checks. In most cases, these credits are in the $2 to $6 range; some will receive larger credits or refunds. ”

The news comes after the FCC filed complaints against Verizon due to overcharging, and it looks as if the carrier are now taking firm action on it. Just to clarify, Verizon owners won’t have to do anything other than wait for the refund to hit your bill next month.
