There are a host of new features on the Sony PS3 Firmware 2.20 update, however looking through them none are of any use to me. Maybe once I start to purchase some Blu-ray movies, then I might get to enjoy the update.

Well it seems as if the new Sony PS3 Firmware Update 2.17 has let a few of us gamers down. This update only gave us some minor changes, however what we was looking for was In-game xmb/home, oh better luck with the next firmware update then.
Oh well I guess In-game xmb will come when it is good and ready, however let us hope that Sony will give us yet more stability patches as they are needed. The Sony PS3 Firmware Update 2.17 is one that I think will be forgotten quickly.
Apple MacBook Air Software Patch: warmer climates and overheating issues

The new software patch update for the Apple MacBook Air was released in the hope to fix an overheating problem. Some MacBook users never had any overheating issues, however for those of you who live in warmer climates, will welcome this update.
The update is meant to help fine tune the speed of the internal fan, this in turn should improve cooling. However some MacBook Air owners have said that this fix is useless. Some owners have also said that when they went to update their MacBook Air, they got a message saying that it was already up to date.
Seeps as if Apple have not handled this fix to well, and might have to get back to the drawing board on this fix. If you live in these warmer climates then you might be lucky with the new update, hopefully your Apple MacBook Air will not overheat and lock up, however I would not hold my breath.
