At the moment the PS3 version of this DLC has a metascore of 89/100 (based on 15 critic reviews), ImpulseGamer gave it a score of 100/100 in their review here, Cheat Code Central gave it a score of 94/100 here, PlayStation Universe scored it 90/100 here and GameSpot gave it a score of 80/100 here.

User reviews for the PS3 version are also very favorable and average out to 8.2/100, check out all of the user reviews and critic reviews here.

The Xbox 360 version of the Undead Nightmare pack DLC has received a metascore of 87/100 based on 23 critic reviews and has a user review score of 9.3, you can see all of these reviews here.

IGN score the Xbox 360 version 100/100 here, Xbox360Achievements scored it 90/100 here and VideoGamer also gave it the same score here.

I have read through quite a few of the reviews and think that Gameplanet sum up most critic opinions with this quote “Rockstar have created one of the most imaginative and cleverly designed DLC packs this year”, also PlayStation Universe say that ” this is a must have for any RDR fan”.

As reported from VG247, we’re pleased to confirm that the Undead Nightmare pack for Red Dead Redemption will be hitting the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace on Tuesday October 26th – the date which a lot of you had already guessed.

As we previously told you here, the pack will consist of a brand new single-player spinoff campaign and will be priced at 800MSP or $9.99 on the PS Store. There is also a trailer which we’ve re-uploaded for you below.

If you need a quick zombie fix before Black Ops lands on November 9th, you better pick up Undead Nightmare.
