DLC for the game was also released last month, details of which we brought to you back in October, but for those that felt as though the last pack was lacking, gaming website IGN has teamed up with both publisher Microsoft and developer Turn 10 to bring you the December IGN Pack.

This December DLC is scheduled for release December 6th and boasts another 10 new cars; each different from the 10 brought to you in the previous DLC. Just as with last month’s pack this DLC will cost you nothing extra providing you have the Forza 4 Season Pass which could have been purchased for $29,99 previously and for those that do not possess the pass it will set you back 560 MS Points.

The 10 new cars that will be available once the DLC has been obtained can be found listed below:

1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS-396
1977 Ford Escort RS1800
1981 Volkswagen Scirocco S
1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio Verde
1988 Pontiac Fiero GT
2010 Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4
2011 Monster Sport Suzuki SX4
2011 Mazda RX-8 R3
2011 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor

As you can see from the list above, this month’s DLC offers a lot more in terms of classic cars. They also range in design from the classic ’67 Chevrolet Chevelle to the very modern and modded Monster Sport Suzuki SX4 from 2011. There was talk of a fall release and details of the collector’s edition of the game. Now today we can tell you that the Forza 4 release date and Kinect support were confirmed at E3 2011.

James Batchelor of MCV.com is reporting in an article that Forza Motorsport 4 will be hitting stores in the US on October 11th. The details of the game were revealed at today’s Microsoft E3 press conference, but for now dates for the rest of the world have not been announced.

It is highly likely the game will be released across the world in the same month as the US. The game will have cars from more than eighty different manufactures. It was also confirmed the game will support the Kinect with head tracking. It will also have some content from BBC’s Top Gear including the famous test track.

It was also revealed that there will be monthly expansions, but unfortunately exact details of these were not given but expect to hear more as the launch date gets nearer. Will you be getting Forza 4?

Today we can report that Forza Motorsport 4 fall release and collector’s edition have been confirmed.

The team over at Electronic Theatre are reporting that Forza 4 will be available during the fall and for gamers purchasing it early will get an exclusive five car pack. The cover for the game shows the Ferrari 458 Italia and the Turn 10 team have said they worked with the Italian sports car maker to have every detail of the car in the game.

There will be some copies of the game at launch which will have an exclusive in-game car pack. This will include five cars for fans to race, paint, tune, and share but will be limited to the first batch of the game. The cars include a 1965 Ford Mustang GT Coupe, 2011 Koenigsegg Agera, 2011 RUF RGT-8, 2011 Tesla Roadster Sport, and the 1997 Lexus SC300.

For those who love the VIP treatment will be able to purchase the Limited Collector’s Edition and details of this version will be made available at a later date. Are you looking forward to Forza Motorsport 4?

As reported be VG24/7, support from the Kinect was announced last year at E3 before the game was even named. Since the games announcement there has been no mention of the Kinect until now.

Forza Motorsport 4 which is due out on the Xbox 360 this fall will be able to use the Kinect body-sensing control system to function a more realistic driver perspective. As the user moves their head from side to side, it does so in the game allowing them to peer past cars or around corners. This is possible without the use of a headset thanks to its microphone integrated 3D camera.

An article at msn.com says the game could raise the when it comes to track simulation. Developers rented each track for two and 3 days at a time, tracking the inside, outside and middle of each with a GPS-system and shooting a lot of video and photo footage, according to Turn 10. This is to give the game more input for coding adding yet more realism to it.
