Toys R Us: Huge Thanksgiving and Black Friday savings

Toys R US is offering a huge range of deals and savings for their online customers for Thanksgiving as well as on Black Friday. In total toyrus.com are offering $4,000 in savings which will start on Thanksgiving morning.

The deals on offer have been carefully selected, and once Thanksgiving is over will be followed by sales as well as a surprise savings deal that will go on all weekend until Cyber Monday. These offers are in addition to the already huge savings that can be seen throughout stores on Black Friday Weekend.

Toysrus.com will be offering the savings from 12:01am on Thanksgiving Day, with over 150 items appearing in the extra sale. Once the weekend holiday is over, Toy R Us will offer yet another 150 online specials on Cyber Monday, December 1.

Cute Teddy Bear MP3 Player the kids will love


We all know that kids love teddy bears and they also love music, so put the two together and you have a right winner on your hands. It actually looks like an ordinary cuddly teddy bear, but no, it is not ordinary. These will be great toys for the children.

This is the Teddy MP3 player with all the little things like play, forward, previous, power, Vol+ and Vol- button controls, these are all located on the teddy bears paws.

The main features include 1GB of flash memory, support for MP3 and WMA audio formats, 1 x USB cable, 1 x Battery cover (battery is not included here), weighs around about 268 grams and is only 230mm x 230mm x 140mm (L x W x D), fur material, Supports Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP, Vista (Window 98 needs USB driver), also support OS Mac 10 and Linux 2.4.

Other features include high Speed USB 2.0 Ultra Fast Data Transfer and easy to operate use. The only downside is the USB chord that comes out of the Teddy bears backside. The market price for the Cute Teddy Bear MP3 Player is normally $62.89, but you can buy it for only $27.49 via UXCELL.

The latest McDonald’s Happy Meal products will soon be featuring toys from the hit television show American Idol. The collection will include eight toys and they play a tune within the genre of the music their character represents: groove to disco songs with Disco Dave, line dance with Country Clay, rock out with Rockin’ Riley or vibe to the beat with Lil’ Hip Hop. Make a melody with Hippie Harmony, sing along with New Wave Nigel, jam with Soulful Selma or kick it with Punky Pete!

In conjunction with the new Happy Meal toy collection, McDonald’s customers can visit www.happymeal.com to choose their favorite new American Idol-inspired Happy Meal character. America’s choice will be announced during the week of May 5 on the Web site.

In addition, McDonald’s is also again offering a chance for consumers to experience American Idol firsthand at www.happymeal.com with the McDonald’s Happy Meal American Idol “You’re Going to Hollywood” Sweepstakes. Guests will have a chance to win one of two prizes that each includes a three-day and two-night trip for four to Los Angeles, California to attend a taping of one of the season finale results show of American Idol Season 7, Sponsor’s choice.

Vstone Black Ox robot called Gigantor should entertain: Video action

We all love robots and the more sophisticated the better, Vstone Black Ox robot is called Gigantor and the original stands 7,000 feet tall, but come on there is not way you can have a robot that size in your house.

So what they did was built a Tokyo sized one for you all, the Gigantor robot is only foot and a half tall from the floor and features 20 movable axis points, oh and he has mean fighting skills which should entertain you somewhat.

Elmo death threat: video

It has been reported that a family in Florida have said that their son’s Elmo Knows Your Name and has turned nasty since its batteries were changed.

Two year old James loves his Elmo but instead of Elmo singing cute songs and telling jokes thsi Elmo has made death threats when the toy’s belly was squeezed, issuing the chilling “kill James” and this all started once the batteries had been changed.

According to Sky News Melissa Bowman, James’ mother said that “It’s not something that really you would think would ever come out of a toy but once I heard, I was just kind of distraught.”

Fisher-Price has issued the family with a voucher for a new Elmo and is “investigating” the incident.
