We have some good news for all WWE fans now. THQ has released a healthy portion of new WWE 13 details, including two brand new superstars to be added to the growing roster. The Miz and Attitude Era Mark Henry are coming to the game, but we are more excited to talk about something else.

Along with the release of two brand new superstars, THQ has also released a new trailer for the game, showcasing the brand new ‘live’ audio effects that will make WWE 13 more realistic than ever. During this trailer though, we noticed one amazing thing – the ability to recreate the famous Hell in a Cell moment from 1998 when Undertaker threw Mankind from the top of the cell.

This then resulted in arguably one of the most famous lines in WWE commentary ever when good ol’ Jr told the shocked onlookers – ‘Good God almighty, they’ve killed him! As God as my witness, he is broken in half!’ We doubt that classic line will be included in the game, but it is very exciting indeed to know that you’ll be able to recreate this memory yourself with a friend in WWE 13.

This is all building up to be one of the best wrestling games to date surely? It also poses the question on what other classic Attitude Era moments they have put into the game as well – although technically that Hell in a Cell memory wasn’t during the Attitude Era, but you get the idea. Imagine if they put the WCW invasion into the game, or the hilarious backstage moments with Booker T and Goldust?

Watch the new trailer below and let us know what you think of it. If you could pick one classic WWF / WWE moment to put in WWE 13, what would you choose?

Excitement for WWE 13 is as high as ever, particularly since THQ has yet to reveal the full roster that will be featured in the game. There has been leaks galore though as we’ve informed you already and one great new rumor hints on possible roster slots being taken up by the members of the nWo.

The nWo doesn’t really need an introduction. In wrestling folklore, they were one of the biggest stables around during the heydays of the WCW and also WWE when Vince Mcmahon purchased the company in 2001. Kevin Nash was in WWE 12 after his recent return to WWE programming, but Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan are two guys who you wouldn’t expect to see in a WWE wrestling game again.

However, Captain Starball has spotted the use of an nWo t-shirt in one of the official screenshots for WWE 13 that THQ put out for promoting the appearance of Mike Tyson. You can see the t-shirt clearly above (bottom right corner) and it could be a major hint that WWE are willing to put the famous group back in the game as part of the exciting ‘Attitude Era’ campaign mode.

Could we really see deals for Hogan and Hall though? Unlikely we say. One more likely scenario is just having all of the materials in the create a wrestler mode so that fans can use nWo attire for their own wrestler if they decide to. The ball is in the WWE’s court though, not Hogan’s or Hall’s. You may also remember that Kevin Nash used the nWo theme during his WWE return, so Vince McMahon definitely hasn’t killed off all links to the stable just yet.

What are your thoughts on this? Would you like to see three roster slots taken up by Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash in their nWo attire?

If you are looking forward to the release of WWE 13, there’s a good chance that you have already seen the supposed leaked roster that was revealed for the game...

If you are looking forward to the release of WWE 13, there’s a good chance that you have already seen the supposed leaked roster that was revealed for the game in full recently. We didn’t report about it when it first surfaced, but now after some additional details have emerged – we have a feeling that it may be real.

We saw many of your reactions too, on how the list could’t be real since a lot of wrestlers who you thought should be in the Attitude Era category were not included. The list, if you need reminding can be seen below courtesy of The Wrestling Observer and almost all of the familiar faces that you see on WWE TV today are included.

It is the Attitude Era names that will be of most interest though, and you’ll see that some wrestlers like HHH, Mark Henry, The Rock and Undertaker have even been named twice as both an Attitude Era wrestler and a current superstar. We’re guessing that means that they take up two slots in both categories on THQ’s website then?

While some of you may be thinking that the list isn’t real, we have a feeling that it might be. We’ve noticed that Billy Gunn and X-Pac have recently confirmed on Twitter that they are going to be in the game. Billy Gunn confirmed it when answering a fan question, while X-Pac made a separate status on his page confirming it as ‘breaking news’.

Don’t forget that this comes after Road Dogg confirmed weeks ago that he had already done voice-overs for the game, so it really does look like DX will be making a return in this game after all. It may also be worth pointing out that there are major whispers that DX will be reuniting for real on the upcoming 1000th episode on RAW. Could their appearance on TV be linked to their appearance in WWE 13?

Hopefully WWE and THQ will announce the full roster around the time when Summerslam begins. Take a look at the roster again and let us know if you are starting to believe it is real as well.

Leaked WWE 13 roster, as noted by Wrestlezone:

Modern Era Stars: Alberto Del Rio, Big Show, Booker T, Brock Lesnar, Brodus Clay, CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Christian, Cody Rhodes, Daniel Bryan, David Otunga, Dolph Ziggler, Epico, Heath Slater, Hunico, Jack Swagger, Jinder Mahal, John Cena, Justin Gabriel, Kane, Kevin Nash, Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry, Primo, R-Truth, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Santino Marella, Sheamus, Sin Cara, Ted DiBiase, The Great Khali, The Miz, The Rock, HHH, Undertaker, Wade Barrett, Zack Ryder, Alicia Fox, Beth Phoenix, The Bella Twins, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly and Kharma.

Attitude Era Stars: Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Eddie Guerrero, Edge & Christian, New Age Outlaws, Road Warriors, X-Pac, Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Mankind, Dude Love, Cactus Jack, Trish Stratus, Lita, Big Show, Kane, Davey Boy Smith, Vader, Mark Henry, Ken Shamrock, Godfather and Big Bossman.

UPDATE: Vader returned to Monday Night Raw this past week – is that yet more evidence that this roster is real?

After showing you the first batch of official screenshots for upcoming brawler WWE 13, we now have some more great news for you. THQ has updated their WWE 13 website to reveal a roster space for no fewer than 77 wrestlers.

The developer had previously teased that WWE 13 would include the biggest amount of wrestlers seen in a WWE game to date and it looks like they are not kidding around. This isn’t secret information or anything like that as based on their website format, they want you to see these 77 slots and start getting excited about who may be joining the game.

The 77 slots are split up into three categories of wrestlers. There’s a Superstars section with 38 slots, a Divas section with 7 slots and also an Attitude Era section with a whopping 32 slots. The characters that have been revealed already are the same guys who featured in the trailer, so people like Stone Cold, Mankind, Undertaker, Sheamus, CM Punk, Chris Jericho and Mark Henry.

It’s interesting to see that THQ has put Undertaker in the Attitude Era section and as we told you in an earlier article, you’ll see that images have already shown him to be wearing his Ministry outfit. There are 29 slots remaining for Attitude Era wrestlers, so the possibilities endless on who is coming next. Will Brock Lesnar and the likes of Goldberg be included?

Three of those slots will surely be filled by X-Pac, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn, otherwise known as some of the members of Degeneration X. We’d love to see old favorites such as Steve Blackman, members of the NWO and Radicalz perhaps and who knows, maybe even Bret Hart and Owen Hart as well. Will Shawn Michaels be put in the WWE Superstars or Attitude Era section though, likewise for Booker T?

Hopefully THQ will be revealing some more wrestlers during E3, maybe they’ll stick to the format of a few WWE Superstars and one Attitude Era superstar reveal each week on a certain day. Take a look at the website for yourself and let us know who you think should take the remaining slots.

Last week we showed you the leaked WWE 13 trailer along with an October 30 release date. Just hours ago on Monday night Raw, WWE has now made the WWE 13 game official, confirming CM Punk as its cover star with one interesting new twist.

If you missed RAW, we can tell you that CM Punk celebrated in ring as the official box art was shown for the Xbox 360 version of the game. It is the same image that featured at the end of the trailer, which WWE confirmed on RAW will get its official showing on IGN later this week.

The box art for the game confirmed one interesting twist though – the inclusion of a WWE ‘Attitude’ logo in the top right hand side. For those of you that are unaware, it means that the game will feature elements of the old Attitude Era that became so famous between the late 1990s and the early 2000s.

It also explains why Stone Cold Steve Austin featured in the trailer, as most of you should be well aware that he was a prominent figure in this era, along with the likes of Degeneration X and The Rock. Speaking of DX, it also connects the dots when Road Dogg recently confirmed on Twitter that he and Billy Gunn did voice overs for the game. It’s obviously early days yet folks, but we could be looking at a full blown Attitude Era story mode in the game which will mimic the events that happened on Raw all those years ago.

Although it is not the return to the Attitude Era on TV that wrestling fans want to see so badly, how do you feel now that WWE are trying to recreate some of their past magic on WWE 13? Do you think it is an indication that they are close to moving away from the PG Era for good? We’ll let you know when new gameplay is released. In the meantime, tell us what Attitude Era wrestlers and story lines you would like to see in the game. Booker T & Goldust anyone?

We have some great news for wrestling fans now, as it looks like WWE 13 has been leaked a little early than THQ had hoped. The game was surely due to be unveiled at E3 2012 next month, but a trailer has already been found online, revealing the game’s release date, initial graphics and some of the wrestlers that will be involved.

There’s no question that this is a genuine video and it confirms that current WWE champion CM Punk will be the main cover star for the game’s box art as he features heavily in the teaser trailer.

A tagline of ‘live the revolution’ is also heard throughout and towards the end of the trailer we see some actual gameplay footage. We’re not sure if there’s too much improvement from WWE 12 graphics wise, but the wrestling physics certainly look like they have been enhanced. We see CM Punk able to perform his flying elbow move off the top rope, onto the helpless Chris Jericho who is lying on the announce table.

There’s also sightings of a few old school wrestlers as well, Mankind, Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin to name a few. Unfortunately, there’s no Brock Lesnar or Paul Heyman in this trailer, but interestingly at the very end of the trailer we Mark Henry and another guy break the ring after a suplex off the top rope. If you follow wrestling, you’ll know that it was Brock Lesnar who made this famous after he broke the ring with Big Show all those years ago.

According to the trailer, WWE 13 will be releasing on November 1st this year. If you pay close attention to the platforms listed at the end, there’s also a Wii logo there, so we’re presuming that this will also be available for the Nintendo Wii U as well. Unfortunately, it looks like there will be no PC release again so make of that what you will.

What are your thoughts on the graphics shown in the trailer – nothing mindblowing right? Expect a full reveal at E3 2012 – let’s hope the New Age Outlaws are confirmed as previous rumors suggest.

If own a copy of WWE 12 and are already looking forward to the next game, we may have some rather exciting news for you. The game is obviously a long way off from release yet, but we could have just had the confirmation of two old school surprises that will definitely please a lot of you.

While WWE 12 is a solid game, there are some complaints that it doesn’t offer enough old school wrestlers, and it appears that THQ may planning to address this for their next game. One such old school wrestler is undoubtedly the Road Dogg, who was one of the key figures in the popular and now unfortunately ancient ‘attitude’ era of WWE.

Road Dogg is now contracted to the WWE officially and appears in their ‘Are you Serious’ video show on YouTube. It appears that he has let slip about his appearance in the next WWE game, as after a fan asked him if he was featured in WWE 13, he replied straight out with ‘already done the voiceovers’. The fact that he is even included in the game is exciting enough, but voiceovers seems to imply that he may be featured in some sort of WWE 13 storyline mode as well, which would obviously be awesome.

You’re probably asking, well what about his tag team partner as well – Billy Gunn? It looks like THQ are set to include him in the game too, as Road Dogg also revealed on his Twitter account that Monty Sopp (Billy Gunn’s real name) is in the game. Both tweets have since been deleted.

That means of course that WWE 13 will officially include the New Age Outlaws tag team in the game. Going back to the mention of voiceovers though – how great would it be if THQ are planning to include a full blown attitude era mode in the game, does it mean that they are currently recruiting other old school superstars to apply their voiceovers as well? We read on Twitter recently that Sean Waltman aka X-Pac wasn’t too happy with the offer that THQ gave him for his inclusion in WWE 13, so we hope that it has now been settled and that he’s another name that we can add to the old school list.

What other wrestlers from the attitude era can we look forward to seeing perhaps? Give us your thoughts and ideas on a potential attitude era story mode in WWE 13.

WWE 12 may well turn out to be the best wrestling game ever made which is some title in itself, but the one frustrating aspect of WWE 12 is that one wrestler in particular is a notable absentee. Chris Jericho is a firm fan favorite and didn’t feature in the game when WWE 12 launched, but after the superstar recently made his comeback into the ring this month, we may be seeing him in WWE 12 as DLC as well.

If you have been following progress involving Jericho’s inclusion into WWE 12, you’ll know that the chances of him appearing in the game initially were very slim. Jericho himself has Tweeted in the past that he would never be featured in any more WWE games, but we can tell you that a secret profile page exists for him on the THQ website, although information for the star is blank at the moment.

Am image of the superstar has been provided by iGoGaming which further adds to the speculation, but either way Jericho will not be appearing in the next DLC pack which features stars such as Batista, Macho Man and Mick Foley.

Since he is now firmly back in the WWE and looks set to be the main highlight of this weekend’s Royal Rumble, we would say that it is only a matter of time before the WWE put him in the game officially. In the meantime, fans have taken to the game’s excellent create a wrestler mode to create him from scratch, and as you can see from an example here – some of you have got Jericho spot on as well.

WWE 12 could be taking the mantle from the classic N64 game No Mercy as best wrestling game ever, but does WWE 12 need Chris Jericho to make it even better? Hopefully we will be seeing him in the game sooner rather than later – Bret Hart would be a nice addition too. Let us know your thoughts on this and if you would like to see him in the game or not.

For lovers and fans of the crazy game that entertains the most warped minds, Saints Row: The Third we have some exciting news as THQ has announced they will be making the CheapyD DLC available for download as of tomorrow for absolute diddly-squat.

The publisher announced that the extra content will be made available across all platforms including the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 as of January 17th, however the download method would differ depending on what platform the gamers own.

As Cheap Arse Gamer explains in their article players must first of all have unlocked Shaundi’s ex-boyfriend’s apartment then, PC gamers simply have to wait for the Genkibowl VII DLC + CheapyD compatibility patch to automatically download via Steam, PS3 gamers have to download the CheapyD pack from the PlayStation Store and Xbox 360 gamers can either download the Genkibowl VII DLC Pack for 560 Microsoft Points or download the Genkibowl VII Viewer Pack which costs nothing.

Once gamers have downloaded and unlocked the DLC, the character CheapyD will be made available at their disposal. They can call him up and ask for his assistance during the game for things like gun fights or whatever else you feel you may need him for. Check out the trailer below to see the useful ally in action.

If you have not yet played Saints Row: The Third or are unfamiliar with the game altogether, you can check out the previous articles we have brought you which include the launch trailer that cheekily mimics the BF3 and MW3 commercial trailers, for a better idea of what the game is all about. For those that do own the game, what do you think of this free DLC from THQ? Will you be downloading it?

When we first told gamers that there would be no UFC Undisputed release in 2011 there were lots of disappointed comments from our readers, however we can now finally confirm the release date for UFC Undisputed 3 and we have a neat trailer to show you.

Let’s start with the release date, according to MMAmania (and lots of other sources) the game will finally arrive on February 14, 2012. For those of you who haven’t noticed this is Valentine’s day, so perhaps start dropping some hints in early Feb and your loved one may pick up a copy for you in exchange for some flowers, chocolates and a romantic meal.

Most serious UFC fans will know how MMA has not always taken place inside the six-sides of the the octagon, in fact many of today’s most successful UFC fighters started their careers a decade or so ago in Pride FC. Today we can confirm that in UFC Undisputed 3 you will be able to battle it out in the traditional Pride squared-ring – we have embedded a trailer showing this at the bottom of this post.

Early in the video you see some video highlights from fighters such as Wanderlei Silva, Quinton Jackson, Cro Cop and many more iconic MMA fighters, Bas Rutten talks us through the trailer and towards the end we get to see some gameplay footage. It only lasts a few seconds but we think we see Don Frye, Cro Cop and Gary Goodridge. You can see the full Pride roster here, as you can see there are some legends missing such as Fedor Emelianenko.

We think that adding Pride to UFC Undisputed 3 and will further build on the solid foundations set by Undisputed 2009 and 2010. What aspects of the game would you like to see improved this time around?

Remember the video can be seen below.
