Now that we’re on the day before Thanksgiving it seems that certain brands are pushing their latest products with a hint of the holiday season attached to them, and for Apple this means a new TV commercial that promotes sharing during Thanksgiving Day dinner for 2012. You can see the video below this article that shows some really tasty pies and other dinner all being served during a mock Thanksgiving Day, which Apple wants to give iPhone users ideas on how to use iOS 6 and their iPhone during Thanksgiving and one way to do this is to use Photo Stream.

Apple’s Photo Stream allows iDevice owners to use iCloud to share a photo taken during Thanksgiving Day dinner, which will then automatically appear on all other devices that belong to you. If you’ve setup a shared photo stream then these photos are then shared with other friends and family, so when you capture those special moments they’re shared within minutes. It is worth noting that some people disabled iCloud when they first setup their iOS device, so this would need to be turned on or you will run into problems.

Do you have Photo Stream setup to be shared with loved ones? We’ve found it a great way to share photos with people at great distances within minutes, which has really changed the way we capture and share memories. If you’re an iOS device owner, will you use Photo Stream during the 2012 Thanksgiving Day dinner?

You can also see a second Apple TV Ad below as well, which explains how good iPhone 5 noise canceling is with a touch of an Orchestra. Take a look at both the new Apple TV commercials and let us know your favorite. If you own the iPhone 5, do you find call quality a lot better or pretty much the same as we do?

If you are the person in your household responsible for cooking this year’s Thanksgiving meal you have a lot of hungry stomachs expecting to be filled with luscious food very soon. Today we thought we would point you in the direction of some great apps available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch these will give you plenty of turkey recipes, along with some pumpkin pie recipes (getting the pie crust just right) and also they’ll give you a hand when it comes to brining a turkey.

The first thing you should do is brine your turkey and decide on which recipe to follow, this is where the Turkey Recipes app by Feather & Moor Ltd comes in handy, it features 38 of the best recipes out there and costs just $1.99 here. The worst thing about this app is choosing a recipe, however the ‘Herbed Turkey With Garlic Gravy’ recipe sounds good to us!

If you own an iPad you should definitely check out Thanksgiving Recipes HD by Mahalo.com Incorporated. This app is just $0.99 and features HD videos showing you how to cook the perfect turkey, melt-in-your-mouth pumpkin pie and much more, it even shows you how to carve your turkey with minimal waste. You can can grab this application here. This app has great reviews and the cooking experts shown in the videos are said to help the worst of cooks become a chef during Thanksgiving.

When cooking multiple things at one it is hard to keep track of cook times when food is on the hob or in the oven, so let us introduce you to KitchenPad Timer. This app allows you to set up to 9 timers at once (5 stove, 4 oven) and this should ensure that your food does not end up overcooked and bland. This app costs just $0.99 here and can be used anytime you cook, not bad value for money eh? Even if it stops you from burning just one item of food it had probably paid for itself!

We really hope that these apps help you during Thanksgiving, if you find a better app leave us a comment below.

A great application has recently been released which will help users when cooking multiple items at once, just in time for that Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. KitchenPad Timer 1.0 is available for owners of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.

Released by Ontario Prativo Group the app is a kitchen timer with a difference because it has a more visual approach to time management in the kitchen. Being universal the application only has to be downloaded once but can be used on all your iOS devices. Users can startup eight timers at once (4 oven and 4 stove top) to keep track of everything that is being cooked at once in the kitchen.

Timers can be set really quick, and tells the user what’s in the oven or on the stove with how much time is left. An audio alert will notify the user when a timer is finished, and a full screen display provides the user with a clean and professionally designed interface.

KitchenPad Timer 1.0 is available on the App Store for only $1.99. iOS 3.0 or later required.
