Texting on your cell phone is something that most of us do every day, I would say that I send about 10 texts per day. My wife moans at me for sending that amount, so how would she feel if she had a couple of teens at hope? The reason I say this is due to new research that states that there are teens out there that stay up at least an extra few hours after going to bed sending texts to friends.

JFK Medical Center, in Edison, N.J. has some research that proves that this past time can lead to a number of medical conditions. Half of the teens tested in the research suffered from a number of conditions, such as ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), learning difficulties, depression and anxiety.

It is hard not to worry, and you have to wonder what can be done about it? Christina M. Kelly from MSNBC picks up on a valid point from the research, when it states “teens consider the loss of a cell phone more dire than the loss of an internal organ.”

Although these teens say that they are not tired after spending hour’s texting, we all know how sleep deprivation can affect us? So what can be done about this problem? Have you had this issue with your children, what did you do?

Cell phone carrier T-Mobile is now being sued by Ez Texting over what is reported as Pot-related texts. It is said that T-mobile has been blocking certain text messages because they contained information on the drug marijuana.

The text messaging marketing company helps businesses by sending texts to users for information purposes. According to Edward Moyer from Cnet News, it has been reported that T-mobile restricted access to Ez Texting, saying that they “did not approve” of the website legalmarijuanadispensary.com. This is the website that the text messaging service sent users too.

The website allows for patients who use marijuana to help ease medical condition to connect with each other. The service allows them to discuss a number of things, and get information from details provided by doctors.

The lawsuit that has been filed claims that Ez Texting could go out of business due to being banned by T-mobile, unless the carrier restores its service. The FCC has been asked on a number of occasions to take the power away from cell phone carriers from banning such services – this has now sparked the argument off again – with many believing that it is long overdue that the FCC should now step in.

We all know how popular texting is, but we were shocked to learn that a woman was able to do it with her feet. This was not done as part of a joke to put up on YouTube or Facebook, a young lady had to do this as she was tied up to her bed by burglars who broke into her house.

Amazingly the woman was able to get a message to not only the police but her boyfriend as well. The woman while tied to her bed was able to open up her laptop and unlock it by hitting control-alt-delete so that she was able to use it.

She then went onto the 911.com website so that she could file out a form, she was able to control the mouse with her foot as well. After that she then went onto Google Chat to type “HELP. CALL 911.” to her boyfriend.

KTLA News reports that officers rushed to the house, where they found the woman tied to the headboard of her bed. Thankfully she only sustained a cut to her head. Police are still looking for the individuals.

This was certainly impressive, are you able to send a text or work a computer with your feet?
