We’re hoping T-Mobile will end the confusion soon on whether it will come to market as the MyTouch 4G or MyTouch HD, but at least we now know when it’s coming.

According to this document obtained by TmoNews, the handset will officially launch on Wednesday November 3rd. We don’t have any word on price yet, but we doubt it will matter to consumers who can’t wait to get their hands on a device sporting a dual-core 1GHz processor.

It will also be T-Mobile’s second handset to run on their HSPA+ network and their first to support video chat since the G2 didn’t. You can check out a rundown of specs here.

The spec-heavy handset previously known as the MyTouch HD isn’t due out until sometime next month, but the ROM has been leaked onto the internet and is now available to download from various locations online.

While developers and community members are still getting to grips with the ROM, Android Central has uncovered a new, unreleased promo video for the device. It is quite slick and touts some of the upcoming features in the device, such as it’s ability to start video calls – a first for T-Mobile.

TmoNews has managed to obtain a new internal document from the carrier, and it reveals the first specs for the MyTouch HD device, along with some other very interesting details on the unannounced handset.

The MyTouch HD will be running Android 2.2 Froyo and specs include a 5MP camera, Front facing camera for Video Chats over HSPA+, QWERTY keyboard, 4GB internal memory and an 8GB SD card for external memory.

The interesting part though, is that the document lists the MyTouch HD as having support for a ‘Dual 1GHz Processor’. If you ask me, 1Ghz is already very good, so it is very exciting at the possibility of having two in one handset.

This video chat functionality will be a huge rival to Facetime for iPhone 4 and the new iPod Touch, and by the looks of things it could be better than Apple‘s offering.

At the moment Facetime requires a WiFi connection for it to work, whereas it looks as if the myTouch HD will feature HSPA+ connectivity for T-Mobile’s 4G network, which should be more than capable of supporting video chat functionality.

For me this is yet another way in which rivals are outdoing Apple’s smartphone offerings, up until 2010 the iPhone has set a high standard which other manufacturers have not been able to keep up with, however it now seems as if AT&T’s network is seriously holding back the iPhone 4, what do you think?
