The trailer we have to show you now, has been leaked courtesy of Console Tech, and Capcom are not too happy about it since they have been removing the same video being uploaded to YouTube. You can still watch it here if you’re interested – and it reveals full details about the Arcade Edition.

Aside from Evil Ryu and Oni, you’ll also get Yun and Yang from Street Fighter III. The Arcade Edition DLC will also include some brand new features, such as the ability to watch replays of pro matches, support for additional costumes, more balanced characters, and the ability to swap replays with your friends.

There isn’t an official release date from Capcom yet, but this report over at Eurogamer suggests that it will release on June 24th, we’ll update you if this changes. After watching the trailer, let us know if you’ll be paying for the extra characters. Or the question we should really ask is, how bad do you want Evil Ryu?

If you’re thinking of picking up a copy of the game along with the Nintendo 3DS, then you’ll be pleased to know that new screenshots, box art and some gameplay trailers have now made their way online. According to Stephen Totilo at kotaku.com, the game was demoed at the recent Nintendo World Event.

Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono was on hand at the event, and showed off both solo and multiplayer gameplay for the upcoming Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition. As Stephen notes, the videos (seen here) don’t actually show you the graphics in the quality they are in real life.

Wireless battle mode seems like an interesting concept that allows active multiplayer gameplay with owners of the 3DS who are in range.

Just imagine walking down the busy street on your new 3DS and finding someone who is close in proximity to test your fighting skills against.

I guess the only real way is to show you the trailer for Super Street Fighter IV so you can make assumptions for yourself.

Andrew Webster from Ars Technica thought that they would offer a short review of the Mortal Kombat demo, and makes a point of the fact that the game is now back to what it once was. The game is a sort of tag team affair, meaning that you will pick two fighters and then swap from one to the other mid-fight.

We already have a good idea of what characters will be returning to the franchise, Scorpion and Sub-Zero are just two, but are the most popular. The other great thing is that the button combinations is almost the same as the previous game, so will not take long to get back into the flow of defeating your opponent.

The biggest change in the new Mortal Kombat game is how it utilizes 2.5D, much the same as Super Street Fighter IV and the Super Mario Bros. Wii. This helps to add a little bit more excitement to scene, just try not to look too much at the background, as you could end up being impaled by Scorpion.

The DLC will be coming to both Xbox 360 and PS3, the DLC has no solid release date, nor have we heard details regarding price, but we do know that it will bring new outfits to all of your favorite playable characters.

You can see a few of these new outfits in the image embedded at the end of this post, the quality is not great but should be sufficient for you hardcore Super Street Fighter IV gamers out there.

The graphics comparison comes to us courtesy of German site VideoGamesZone, who have uploaded a batch of screenshots over at their website.

There are nine images in total, with the PS3 version appearing at the top, Xbox 360 at the bottom. To view the images in HD, simply click the bottom right link which says ‘Bild in Originalgröße’.

Personally, I dont see a lot of difference between the two platforms. Maybe I am just getting a color overload and can’t see anything properly – what do you reckon?

On a second glance, maybe there are slightly more jaggies on the PS3 version than Xbox 360 version, take the vehicle in picture two for an example of this.

Capcom has given us all the fighters that we have come to love over the years, with a few new faces thrown in for good measure. The greatest thing about these new characters is that they are not locked – so you can fight with them from the start. This will certainly please those who struggle to get through the game without the use of some of the best characters.

Arcade Mode has always been popular, so new versions of car smashing and barrel breaking will be well received. With Street Fighter IV it was often hard to win a fight with those dominating characters, Capcom has now tried to balance this out by making the other characters more competitive from the start.

The biggest change with the game is how the Online Mode has been given an overhaul – offering more options, such as team Battles and Endless Battle. Ars Technica cannot say for certain if Super Street Fighter IV is worth paying the extra $40 – Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 users will have to make that decision for themselves. The new trailer last 3 minutes and has been embedded at the end of this post, it features three of the newest challengers, these are Dudley, Ibuki and Makoto.

One quite strange thing about this video is that Capcom USA still has not officially announced any of this, however surely this video pretty much makes this official.

As reported from Eurogamer, the three fighters are Makoto, Ibuki and Dudley. You may realise that these are all Street Fighter III characters, so great news if you were a fan of their styles in that game.

If you read our story way back in September, you might of already known that Ibuki and Dudley were rumored to be coming, so it appears that the leaked info was right all along.

That means that the roster for the new game is looking pretty tasty, with other new characters T. Hawk, Dee Jay, Juri, Adon, Cody and Guy already confirmed.

Will you be buying this game? It’s out in Spring.
