The words innovative and Nintendo Wii go hand in hand, so to hear about a new game for the Wii that is said to be innovative, you are not surprised. Now if we said this new game was a project from two names like publisher Electronic Arts and director Steven Spielberg, you may want to take notice.

The game is called “Boom Blox” and its Steven Spielberg’s first collaboration with EA, the game was inspired from how Steven loved to smashup his toys as a child. In Boom Blox your able to use the Wii remote, to simulate throwing baseballs at towers of blocks, just like at the funfair. This may sound like it can get boring fast, but the game has a lot more to offer, and this includes the ability to play a multiplayer mode that’s similar to Jenga.

You can even make your own puzzles in Boom Blox thanks to the robust creation mode, this is going to be a massive game as we all like to create things and the video games that last the longest have good multiplayer modes for playing real people. If you do create a puzzle, you can then share it with others and then play that puzzle together. Its easy to see that Boom Blox will be very popular as it has all the basic things that make gaming interesting and fun.
