This news was revealed by iH7sn0w a few days ago via Twitter, here is the tweet “Will be pushing out http://ih8sn0w.com/anditbegins.png a few days after PwnageTool is out. @MuscleNerd can we talk?”.

If you check out the link in the tweet (here) you will see that it clearly shows an iPhone 4, prior to this Sn0wbreeze has only been compatible with iPhone 2G/3G/3GS and iPod Touch 1G/2G.

If you are unaware of what Sn0wbreeze is capable of check out this link, to cut a long stiry short you can use it to jailbreak iPods and iPhones, other functionality allows you to activate your iPhone, setup custom boot logos and build a custom IPSW.

At the moment there has been no real clue as to when Sn0wbreeze 2 for iPhone 4 will become available, therefore we will have to keep you posted as we find out more.

Sn0wbreeze is back, and version 2.0.1 can jailbreak your device right now.

As reported from RedmondPie, Sn0wbreeze 2.0.1 supports a collection of iOS devices, but the 3GS sticks out as it allows you to jailbreak your device with the new bootrom. You can jailbreak the 3GS on the old bootrom, but RedmondPie states that you must be already jailbroken if you want to enjoy custom firmwares on Sn0wbreeze 2.0.

If you are willing to give this a go, you will find a full set of steps and instructions over at RedmondPie. The process seems quite complicated so you should only attempt this if you have previous jailbreaking experience.

If you are trying this out for the first time, obviously it goes without saying that doing so will void your warranty with Apple, so perform at your own risk.

Either way, this guide certainly gives you something to do while you wait for an update on Greenpois0n, the ‘real’ one! Let us know how you get on.
