When I first saw the images of this device I thought I was looking at a cannibalized version of the old Apple Mac Mini, it was not until I looked more closely that it was in fact the ASRock Vision 3D HTPC. It is no secret that ASRock’s previous devices were met with some trepidation, but maybe it is time to get over that and embrace this high-end SFF media PC?

AnandTech has spent some time with the device to see if ASRock has upped its game, and we can tell right away how impressed they were. We were even more shocked to learn that they believe that the Vision 3D HTPC is the best small form factor that they have reviewed.

Let us have a brief look at the hardware to see what makes this SFF so special; the first and most important piece of hardware is the 2.4GHz Core i3-370M processor, which works well in conjunction with its GeForce GT425M GPU. That’s not all, 4GB of DDR3 RAM helps to handle all what is thrown at it.

The addition of Blu-ray and a HDMI port helps to make this one hell of a media PC, but the price tag does seem a little high at just under a $1000. For a detailed review of the ASRock Vision 3D HTPC visit AnandTech.
