If you have been frustrated with the lack of Flash video support with Apple devices such as the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad we have some great news for you, the Skyfire web browser will soon arrive at the App Store.

This is great news for two reasons, firstly Skyfire 2.0 is an extremely popular browser for Android thanks to its fast performance, however the more exciting news is that it will bring a form of Flash to Apple devices.

Skyfire 2.0 for iOS links up with Skyfire’s servers when a Flash video is on a web page, the servers then download, render and convert the video into HTML5, a thumbnail is then shown on the web page, users can click this thumbnail to watch the HTML5 video. My only concern is that this process may take some time, especially when connected via AT&T’s mobile network.

The Android version of Skyfire 2.0 is completely free, however it will cost $2.99 at the App Store when it arrives on Thursday morning, this is probably to help pay for the server costs used for converting the Flash videos.

We have embedded a video below showing you Skyfire 2.0 for iPhone, check it out then answer the following question.

Will you buy Skyfire 2.0 for iOS?
