This download content will be called the After Dark DLC, this will arrive on July 27th and will set back Xbox 360 gamers 400 Microsoft Points, this should mean that PS3 gamers will pay $5, however this has not been confirmed.

If you are interested in buying the DLC check inside your Skate 3 box beforehand, some Skate 3 owners will get the DLC for free as a code is on the game’s box insert.

Apparently the After Dark DLC will bring two new locations for you to skate in (both set at night time), these are the OG San Van DIY park and the Sanitarium. The DLC will also allow you to ‘kit up’ your skater with new clothing and boards etc.

This DLC is called the ‘Hawaiian Dream’, as of July 6th it will be available from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 560 Microsoft Points and the PlayStation Store for $6.99.

This DLC will give you access to a new area (Hawaii), a new skater (Danny Way), 24 new challenges along with new Achievements and Trophies to aim for.

The new skating area was designed by Danny and consists of “original street terrain to flowing skate parks”, which will no doubt allow you to get the most out of your skater.

A video trailer for this DLC has been embedded at the end of this post, this trailer reveals that it will be downloadable for both PS3 and Xbox 360 on June 8th.

The DLC will allow you to compete in the Maloof Money Cup (a real skateboarding event), this is set in Flushing Meadows, New York and should provide the ultimate skating environment for you to showcase your style and skill.

The DLC will set you back $5 when purchased from the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live gamers will have to spend 800 Microsoft Points (which is the same as $5), once downloaded there will be more achievements, gamerscore points and trophies to aim for.

The footage comes to us courtesy of Eurogamer, who have uploaded the video on their website. You get a great look at the key changes from Skate 2, whilst also seeing how improved the graphics and skatepark environments are.

One of the main additions in Skate 3 is the inclusion of the Skate Park – which allows you to build your own parks – a feature that was badly needed in previous editions of the game.

As reported from V3tro, the demo is now live on Xbox 360, while it is expected to be up on the Playstation 3 store this afternoon.

The demo is well worth downloading, as it will offer you both samples of the single and multiplayer portions of the game. Better yet, you’ll be able to team up with a friend for the co-op part if you prefer.

The download size is quite a hefty one at 862.54 MB, but we say give it a go. The full game is due early May in the US. Let us know your thoughts on the demo.

As reported from Eurogamer, the Skate 3 demo will be hitting the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace on April 15th, which is next Thursday.

The demo will give you the opportunity to try out the University District course, in a variety of modes such as Single or Multiplayer, Domination, Own the Lot and Hall of Meat.

If you get good at the demo, you’ll also be able to record your tricks using the replay editor. The full game is due out on 14th May, 11th May in the US.

The information was revealed at the PAX event, here promotional stickers showed that Skate 3′s demo will hit Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network on April 15th, the full release of the game will take place on May 11th (Europeans will have to wait until May 14).

On the promotional stickers there were also links to the game’s official website, Twitter page and Facebook fan page.
