Sharkoon make a range of products, we reported on a couple in the past. There’s the FireGlider Gaming Mouse, which we reported the specs and pricing. We also had a look at their USB 3.0 HDD; you can view our article here.

Now there is a Sharkoon USB flash drive hitting the market. If you are looking for a speedy device with plenty of storage, then this may be the one for you. Sharkoon are doing a lot of work around USB 3.0 and claim to be a pioneer in the area.

The Flexi-Drive Extreme Duo has a read/write max transfer speed of 130MB/s, the flash drive is downward compatible with USB 1.0 and 2.0, it’s supported on multiple operating systems including Mac OS 10, Windows XP, Vista and 6 as well as Linux. The capacity of the drive is 16GB.

If you want to read more about the specs of the device, then you can visit Sharkoon’s official website by clicking here. That is a pretty impressive spec for a flash drive, but all of this must come at a price right? Well, we are currently unaware of the price or even when it will available for purchase.

What do you think of a USB device running at that speed? Does it really need to be that fast? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Over the next few months or so it is thought that more and more motherboard manufacturers etc will begin giving products USB 3.0 support, therefore it is unsurprising to hear that Sharkoon has recently unveiled new USB 3.0 external hard drive enclosures.

From what we can see these new enclosures are called the Rapid Case 2.5″, you can put any 2.5 inch SATA hard drive inside and should offer transfer speeds of up to 5Gbit/s.

These cases are available in black, red or blue, they are pretty small and light, in fact they weigh just 70 grams (when empty) and measure in at 123 x 78 x 11mm.

These new USB 3.0 enclosures will set you back just €22.99, which is a fair price to pay in my opinion, for more details check out the source link below.

If you have been looking to purchase a new gaming mouse you may want to check out Sharkoon’s latest offering, this mouse is called the the FireGlider and was recently unveiled at CeBIT.

This mouse features six programmable buttons and a weight adjustable design, it also has adjustable sensitivity which ranges from 600 dpi to 3600 dpi.

The mouse has a black design and has a non-slip texture, it also features LED lighting, however Sharkoon decided against a flame motif which some gamers would have probably loved.

If you like the sound of this mouse you can get hold of it for €24.49, this roughly equates to $33, to find out more check out the link below.
