Samsung Connected TV’s is something that the Korean consumer Electronics maker believes will be big business over the next few months and years, but we have to wonder if these smart features will be met with FUD (Fear, uncertainty and doubt)? This is a challenge that the company will now have to handle, but we can be sure that they are more than up to the job.

When the flat screen TV first came to market things did not change much for years, some offered better sound and visual quality – but nothing else. However, we have seen things move up a gear over the past one to two years, firstly because of improvements to technology, and the second is making your TV experience more social and interactive.

It is the latter where Samsung has been working the hardest, a little like Sony and their Google TV integration. Samsung’s Smart TV is like a hub for a number of cool features, these include a Web Browser, Search All, Your Video, Samsung Apps and much more. Tomorrows TV looks to finally be here, we just hope that the user will embrace it.

Consumer Electronic companies know that the TV is the biggest market, and making theirs stand out against the rest is top of Sony’s, Samsung’s Panasonic’s, LG’s and other’s agenda, so coming up with new and unique features is imperative.

We also have to remember that there is 3D TV, but personally I still believe this to be a fad, but something like Samsung Smart TV is something that is here to stay and will improve as it evolves, but do you agree? For more details on these Samsung Smart TVs visit their official website.

Do you think that Samsung Smart TV will be met with fear, uncertainty and doubt?

CES 2011 is just two days away and that means that consumer electronics brands from around the world will be making last minute touches to their displays. We already know that the likes of Samsung will be on hand during the event, but we are still not certain what their biggest announcements will be – but we do have a few ideas.

Thanks to Leslie Meredith, from Tech News Daily we now know that Samsung will be showing off two new cameras, the NX11 and the WB700. The former offers an 18-55mm i-Function lens and is said to make the experience of taking a photo much easier. The latter is an ultra-slim camera with an amazing 24x zoom lens; we cannot give you a release date or any pricing details as yet.

Another announcement will be the Samsung Galaxy Player and is said to be very similar to its Android smartphone range. When you think about it this will be a lot like the Apple iPod Touch, as that is like the iPhone but has no cellular connection.

However, Affan from NewsDen believes that Samsung could reveal the next-gen AMOLED displays during the event. This means that their smartphones, tablets and TV’s will benefit from this new display technology. What we find most interesting about this is the fact that it will deliver four times the resolution as 1080p. These are just a few things that we expect from Samsung during CES 2011, but what are your expectations?

When choosing to purchase a new TV online you should always remember to visit a local consumer electronics store to take a look at the TV first. How many times have you bought a TV online only to be disappointed when you try it out for the first time? However, this is never likely to happen when you choose the Samsung UN46C6300SF LED TV.

The reason I say this is because it is at the higher end of the scale when it comes to TVs, so the moment that you turn it on you will know that you have made a good investment. The TV has a 46-inch screen, so not great if you only have a small room.

The Samsung UN46C6300SF is a 1080p Full HD TV and offers 120Hz clear motion, which helps to improve fast moving scenes. The TV also boasts an ultraclear panel, so when connected up to a Blu-ray player you know you will see all the colors and vivid images as the director wanted you to.

Other features include: optional mounting kit, wide color enhancer plus, DNSe sound, 2USB and 4 HDMI ports. I can tell you from experience that you will not regret choosing a Samsung TV over other top brands. get more details and a price here.

Last month both Logitech and Sony announced that they were to launch Google TV, the former a little like a Tivo like box, the other integrated into their TVs. Blomberg reports that Samsung has announced that they also plan to launch a new Google TV lineup, which will be unveiled during CES 2010.

It was only a matter of time really, as Google needs to have the backing of Samsung, as they are the largest TV manufacturer in the world, whereas Sony is only the third. The next step is Google TV on the PS3, but that is a long way off yet – certainly a nice thought though.

We now have to wait a couple of months to learn what new models Samsung will announce. Will they have just one new range, or will their be a host of them, such as LED TVs and 3D TVs? One thing is certain; this will be a great partnership of two companies that are at the top of their field.

There are no more details on this, so we will just have to wait until CES 2011. Would you rather Sony Google TV or Samsung Google TV?

UPDATE – Samsung Official Statement
“For Samsung, the connected TV era began more than three years ago and achieved a breakthrough in 2010 with the introduction of Samsung Apps, the world’s first TV application store now available in more than 120 countries. Our success has been built on an open platform strategy through which we have partnered with diverse content and service providers via our Internet@TV service, including Google properties such as YouTube, Picasa, and Maps. Samsung is focused on delivering the most complete smart TV experience to consumers and this will guide our approach as we consider introducing new services or platforms such as with Google. A relationship with Google TV is currently under consideration but no decision has yet been reached.“

Back at the start of 2010 we got to see what technology we had to look forward to in the year ahead at CES. Some of the best consumer electronics were on show, such as the range of Full HD 3D TVs, and now Samsung have launched their first model the 55-inch UN55C7000, and is now available from Amazon.

The new LED Samsung television forms part of the 7000 Series and offers stunning pictures that just wants to leap out at you. 3D TV is seen as the next evolution in your home entertainment, we just hope that other models are launched in time for the release of Avatar on 3D Blu-ray.

As movies get faster with their action sequences they need a TV that can keep up with the pace, and UN55C7000 with its 240 Hz Clear Motion Rate is the perfect solution. As with all Samsung LED TVs, this model has an ultra thin design, so will not look out of place in a smaller living room.
