Samsung has just announced and unveiled to the world, the upcoming release of their 32GB MicroSD cards. As most of you will know, it will double the 16GB capacity that was previously available.

As reported from BGR, mass production on the cards is set to begin in February, although no prices were mentioned with Samsung’s official press release.

As for the cards themselves, they will use 30-nm class 32GB NAND flash memory, while being 1mm thick and 0.7mm high.

If the new cards seem ideal for your day to day needs, expect to pay a high price for one at first, with reductions almost certain to happen throughout the year.

Full press release over at BGR.
