The Sony PlayStation Network has been hitting the headlines quite a bit in the last few days, as only yesterday we told you about the upcoming rebranding of the service. Late last week the service was down for a few days for some more routine maintenance, but this work on the PSN service is causing the error code 80023102 for some users.

There have been many users taking to the European PlayStation forums complaining of the new problem, and according to GamesBeat users download lists are not now accessible and no content can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store.

The trouble is many games now require an online pass to activate multiplayer content, or in some cases to unlock some single player content, so no store access is a major headache. The storefront is still available and items can be purchased, they just can’t be downloaded to user’s consoles.

Users have been reporting that they get the “No content was found”, and the error code 80023102. The problem has been reported in the UK and other European countries, as well as Australia and New Zealand. It seems that currently the American Store is working correctly.

Community Moderator SuperFastZombie has responded a couple of times about the problem and has confirmed the problem is known about and a fix is being worked on. While UK Community Team member Yaster, has said that the problem has been identified, but a fix has not yet been found. Users are being reassured that once fixed all previous content will again be available.

Have you had any issues since the routing maintenance a couple of days ago?

If you’re familiar with Dungeon Twister, then you might like to know that Hydravision – the developer behind the Funky Lab Rat game – has just announced that they are currently working on an a video game adaptation of the fantasy-themed strategic board game.

According to Ben Jones over at psnstores.com, Dungeon Twister: The Video Game – which is heading to the PlayStation Network at some stage – will follow the same two-player formula as the Dungeon Twister board game, which is fairly well known in the world of board game players.

Each player will take control of a team of eight adventurers, who are rapped in a dungeon and are trying to escape first. Each of the adventurers will possess their own special ability, with some being able to throw fireballs while others will have the ability to walk through walls.

Although the upcoming video adaptation hasn’t been given a release date as of yet, we will keep our readers informed when we do hear of one. You can view a number of Dungeon Twister: The Video Game screenshots via the psnstores.com website, and view the trailer below this post.

Are you familiar with the Dungeon Twister board game? If so, what are your thoughts on a video game adaptation?

We have a bit of a treat now for those of you that enjoy playing third-person shooters, as Cincinnati-based video game developer and publisher Zoo Entertainment has just announced its new Wanted Corp. downloadable game for the PlayStation 3 and PC.

According to a recent joystiq.com article by Griffin McElroy, the Wanted Corp. game places players in the shoes of Irina Zimoy and Neal H. MadDogg, who find themselves involved in a massive, extraterrestrial bounty hunt in which they have to kill or capture various kinds of enemies.

Completing the said bounties – and other secondary objectives – will earn players cash, which they can then spend on upgraded abilities or new weapons. Gamers will also have the ability to toggle between the two characters, as well as choose between single player and local / online co-op.

The developer also promises that the Wanted Corp. game – which will be available sometime this summer, priced up at $9.99 – will feature additional support for the PlayStation Move motion controller. The game’s weapons include grenades, machine guns and protective shields.

You can find out a little more about the Wanted Corp. Game over at joystiq.com, and view a trailer for the game below this post. Are you a fan of third-person shooters? If so, do you like the sound of the upcoming Wanted Corp. title?

We have some pretty exciting news now for those of you that enjoyed playing Supersonic Software’s 2004 multiplayer racer game Mashed, as 505 Games has just announced that it will be publishing the developer’s new project, Wrecked: Revenge Revisited.

According to a recent article by James Orry at videogamer.com, the Wrecked: Revenge Revisited multiplayer combat-orientated racing title will be arriving on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade sometime this spring (although we don’t have a specific date yet).

Supersonic Software promises that the Wrecked: Revenge Revisited game will build on the elements that made the Mashed title – which was released for the Xbox and PlayStation2 – so much fun. The game is of course about winning by any means possible.

Players will come across various vehicle enhancements and weapons during races, which can then be used to muscle their opponents off the track. The revenge part of the title comes into effect if a players’ vehicle is destroyed, as they will then have the chance of revenge with 5 different aerial strikes.

The game features a single player Championship Mode that offers players 24 different challenges set across 4 disciplines, as well as local or online multiplayer modes that support for up to 4 players. Did you ever play the Mashed game? If so, do you like the sound of Wrecked: Revenge Revisited?

As most PS3 gamers are aware, there were 3 massive titles that have released demos of their up coming games today. The demos are Dead Space 2, Mass Effect 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2. We are hoping you have downloaded all 3 so that you can give us some feedback.

We already reported that the demo would be available and have informed you of the available screenshot comparison for Mass Effect 2. ME2 has become a highly anticipated release and it was very successful previously on the Xbox 360.

Dead Space 2 is looking really impressive. This demo has come out a full 5 weeks before the intended release date. We have reported various screenshots and the official ‘Dementia’ trailer for you at home. Now we want to know what you think of the demo.

We also saw LittleBigPlanet 2’s demo hit the PSN store; this one has also been a highly anticipated release. We have been keeping you up to date as there were some issues surrounding the intended release date as it has changed from November to January.

Now that all of you have had some time to play these 3 demos we want to know if your wishlist for 2011 has changed? Which of the 3 is your favorite demo? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

For all you old school gamers you will remember Tetris, heck, everyone remembers Tetris. Even my wife who hates video games loves Tetris, in fact if I tell her it is coming out on the PSN in 2011 I doubt I will ever get to play my beloved console again!

This time it’s bigger, better, more colorful and offers a decent competitive online mode. We are hearing reports that it will be available very early on in 2011 and that it will have 1080p graphics, and 5.1 Dolby sound.

The game will have 6 online and offline game modes but don’t worry gamers, you can still play Marathon by your self! On the PlayStation blog Christophe Gomez doesn’t go into any detail but does mention that there will be 3 new online modes. This sounds brilliant! You can also view a game trailer of the new version that is headed for the PSN courtesy of the PlayStation Blog.

Something really trivial I know, but I really hope they keep the original music as well as the new jazzed up version as an option or allow you to play your own music whilst you get as many lines as possible would be great. What would also be cool is if you could put the same game onto your PSP and almost use it as a separate controller playing in the same game as everyone else in the room. Hopefully it will be a 4-player game and if it is you know it will get competitive! At the bottom of the article we have included a YouTube clip that has some of the old music to the game playing, you’ve got to love it, the pictures it shows will bring back a memory or two.

What do you think about Tetris making a comeback? Do you still like the golden oldies like this? Let us know in the comments below.

Following on from the PS3 3.50 firmware update today, we have started to hear of owners having problems logging on to their accounts.

We have heard of PS3 owners who have updated their system complaining that they cannot sign in, and every time they enter their password are getting the wrong password message. We have had a reader who has two PSN accounts and cannot log into either of them. They are met with wrong password message, and even when they use “Forgot your Password” all that comes up is an error.

Conrad Zimmerman of Destructtoid is reporting that PSN is going to have some scheduled maintenance today. This could be why users are complaining of problems logging on to their accounts. The maintenance is expected to take place during 8 am until 5pm Pacific time. There will be a lot of users who are at work during this time so it will not be a problem for them, but for everyone else it will be somewhat of an annoyance.

Have you been trying to log on to PSN?
