Like most iPhone shells this has been carefully designed to ensure that you have access to all of the iPhone’s ports, buttons and of course the camera, not only this but it slightly protrudes the display, this ensures that your display doesn’t get scratched when face-down on a flat surface.

Fitting the Ted Baker case is simple, just place the right-hand side of your iPhone into the case and then gently push the device into the case – it then snaps into place and securely grips your iPhone 4S. Removal is a little tricky due to the firm grip, but let’s face it you shouldn’t need to take your iPhone 4S out of the case once slotted into place.

The image below shows how Proporta has perfectly crafted the Ted Baker case to ensure that all the controls are accessible. Sadly it doesn’t come with a screen protector, but you can choose to buy one when buying the case if you want.

In terms of design we were very impressed with the soft-feel finish and the countersunk metal Ted Baker badge, the countersinking ensures that the badge doesn’t get caught when sliding it in and out of your pocket. We also quite liked the simplistic print (see below) and get the impression that the hard shell would keep you 4S safe from most drops etc. There’s no doubt that the case would show some wear and tear over time, however the whole point of the case is to take the bumps and scratches so your iPhone 4S avoids damage.

The Ted Baker Hard Shell II case will not keep your iPhone 4S as safe from damage as the Ballistic Lifestyle iPhone 4 case, but it is a lot less bulkier and looks much better, we think that if you like Ted Baker clothing or want a stylish-looking case this would be a great purchase.

If you are like me you want a case to keep your smartphone safe from accidental damage without being to bulky or getting in the way of a smartphone’s features, the Mizu Shell does just this whilst keeping a firm grip on your HTC Desire. Simply stretch the strong silicone case around your Desire and it fits perfectly.

As I previously mentioned it is important that you have access to all of the buttons and features which you use your smartphone for. The image below shows how the Mizu Shell case has been designed carefully so that it does not get in the way of the camera lens, flash, speaker, 3.5mm headphone jack and if you scroll down to the bottom of this post you can see that there is easy access to the micro-USB port and a hole has been cut-out so that the microphone is not covered.

The silicone material used feels extremely tough and should keep your Desire safe from any accidental damage, it does not come with a screen protector, however the casing ensures that the large display will not be damaged if it you lay the handset face down on a flat surface. The case does not add much bulk to the Desire and feels comfortable in your hand, also it has a soft finish which helps you keep a strong grip.

As the case is pretty simplistic there is not much else we can say, there are charcoal and red variants to choose from, each of which costs $26.95. Upon receiving the charger I was amazed at how nice the design of the box was, it is made from a clear polypropylene. The cover also has a translucent image of a map, meaning that it can be taken all over the world, hence universal in the name.

When we unpacked the Proporta Universal Emergency Charger Travel Kit, we were amazed to see a huge range of different connectors. There is a USB to 3mm converter, which then connects to a number of connectors that will charge devices such as iPod, iPhone, Nokia, Micro USB, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and Sony PSP.

Also in the box is the Porporta charger itself cigarette lighter charger with 2 x USB connectors, and mains charger for US, EU and UK. The mains charger has a universal interface; the plug section is interchangeable, allowing you to choose the US, EU and UK plug. Changing this is easy, just press down on a small button underneath.

The design of the charger itself is like a stumpy version of a white iPod, which offers a modern style rather than some of the other boring plain black designs on the market. To the top left of the Porporta charger is a charge meter, by pressing the button it will indicate how much charge is left in the charger.

We deiced to test the device on a number of devices, the first was an Apple iPhone, the second was my wife’s Samsung G600, and the third device was a Nintendo DS Lite. Set up of all three devices was easy, just a simple task of choosing the correct connections.

Make certain that you fully charge the Proporta Universal Emergency Charger Travel Kit first. The charger was already charged to about 50% to 75% but I thought I would charge it to 100%. All these devices were similar in how much power that demanded from the charger, I was able to get almost three full charges for the iPhone and Samsung G600, the DS Lite was about two charges.

The charger certainly is a handy gadget to have on you, great for going on holiday with, when spending all day at the beach you certainly need your iPod fully charged. The check the charge button is not a feature that works perfectly, but that is the only bad thing that I can say about.
