Today we have some more information regarding what could possibly be Modern Warfare 3.

We heard from Computerandvideogames that Activision’s CEO has said “The creative excellence and sheer scale of the game we are making, and the unprecedented online universe that will accompany it will re-set the bar for this genre”. These bold claims suggest that Activision are excited about their next release and we could be in for a treat.

The CEO also promised that the game will give players “a new level of immersion, connectivity and community”. It sounds like the online has been improved greatly which will be pleasing for gamers of the previous COD titles, as this was possibly the most popular aspect of the series. An “unprecedented online universe” was added to emphasise this.
