As reported from TheSixthAxis, PoP: Forgotten Sands is due out on May 18th in North America, May 21st in the UK.

You’ll be pleased to hear that Ubisoft has comprised the trailer of nothing but solid gameplay action, and it is actually pretty good too.

Considering that the last game didn’t go down too well, lets hope that Forgotten Sands is the game that really kick starts the franchise again.

You just can’t beat co-op mode these days, I’d say its one of the most requested modes from a gamers point of view these days – would you agree?

As Eurogamer reports, Ubisoft claims that this will be the first ‘true co-op experience’ that will be featured in a Prince Of Persia game.

It is also worth pointing out that co-op has yet to be announced for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game, while it is also due for release on PC, PSP and DS too.

From what we can see The Forgotten Sands will arrive on the Wii on May 14th, this will be the second Prince of Persia release on the Wii, prior to this we have seen the release of Prince of Persia: Rival Swords.

Apparently this game will involve the standard gameplay you associate with Prince of Persia, such as avoiding traps, solving puzzles and fending of enemies, apparently there is around 15-hours of gameplay in total.
