According to a recent article by Rashid Sayed over at gamingbolt.com, the publisher has now announced a release date for PopCap Games’ upcoming PopCap Hits Vol. 2 for the Xbox 360. Although we have no details of a price, we do know that the collection will be available from March 11th.

The PopCap Hits Vol. 2 collection includes a total of 4 PopCap games: Feeding Frenzy 2, Heavy Weapon, Plants vs. Zombies and Zuma. Heavy Weapon is side-scrolling shoot-em-up arcade game, which provides gamers with 19 story-based missions, a Survival Mode for instant action or co-op multiplayer.

Zuma on the other hand is a fast-paced puzzle adventure game, in which players have to fire balls from a stone frog to match three or more of the same color. Feeding Frenzy 2 can either be played on your own or with friends, and features new fish and 60 new levels.

PopCap has recently revealed that it will become available in North America, Europe and Asia from December 7th, prices may vary, however it should cost roughly $20 and will run on both Mac and Windows.

From what we can see PopCap has added a lot to this version, additions include new Quest and Zen modes and unlockable secret games. PopCap has also utilized an achievement system which they used in Bejeweled Blitz, this should keep you playing for hours.
