Sony Playstation style Jean Nouvel faucet taps, what next gamers?

Playstation faucet
Sony Playstation is popular but Sony Playstation style Jean Nouvel faucet taps what next? Is the way of home living turning towards the gaming lifestyle?

These PlayStation-themed faucets which you can clearly see the Sony PlayStation symbols on the top look pretty cool, but one thing you must have noticed is that the square button symbol is missing.

So we believe that it was not actually designed with Sony’s game controller in mind but hey good to think it was. These Jean Nouvel faucets will now give you water with digital in mind.

The O will turn the water on, the X turns the water off, and the triangle will sort the temperature out. We do not know what the price is but we are guessing a whole lot more than the PS3.

The video below to me is blatantly boring buy hey always worth showing so you can judge for yourselves.

The video is about the PlayStation Network Drawing Room where they are trying to say you can get connected to a world of endless possibilities. Ok yes there are many possibilities but come on the amount of money flying around and all they could come up with was this piece of rubbish.

I bet it was their kids that draw the pictures. What has the world come too people.

Sony Blu-ray Player Prices Increase as HD DVD is dead

Sony Blu-ray Player Prices Increase as HD DVD is dead
Remember the good old days when Blu-ray was competing with its rival format HD DVD, well it seems that we have to dig a little deeper into our pockets. Now that HD DVD is dead that has sparked an increase in prices for the Sony Blu-ray players, as they do not have any competition to worry about.

When HD DVD players were on the market, Blu-ray did not see it as tough competition but it was because of the cheap price of the HD DVD players that forced Sony into reducing their prices as their Blu-ray players were not selling quick enough.

One of the main reasons that the HD DVD format died is because most of the people who was purchasing Blu-ray titles owned a PlayStation 3, this was yet another reason for them to cut the price of their standalone players.

Now we have to wonder how much more will have to pay for a Blu-ray player, as Sony has no one competing with them.

Forums join forces with Playstation network: PSN Sign In ID is needed

Playstation network
In a report recently announced PSN is coming to forums, this means that forums will be joining forces with Playstation network pretty soon.

You will have to use your PSN Sign In ID to be able to login to the forums which means one less password needed. You will have to link your forum account to your PLAYSTATION®Network account (PSN).

The process is very simple indeed which you can see here, and yes it should only take a few minutes to complete. These changes are happening at the official European PlayStation forums and after 3 days of being offline as from the 17th March all members will not be able to login to the forum unless you have a PlayStation Network ID.

Is this a good or bad thing?

Sony PS3 and Xbox 360 price war: would you welcome it?

Sony PS3 and Xbox 360 price war: would you welcome it?
The big two next generation games consoles, Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 could end up going head to head in a price cutting war. Just recently Xbox have reduced the price of their 360 in Europe; this was done in the hope to stop the decrease in sales.

It is not known if Sony will follow, however if they did then we could very well see a price war between the big two. Following the price cut, the Xbox 360 is now cheaper than the Nintendo Wii in Europe. It seems only a matter of time before Sony is forced to reduce the price of the PlayStation.
