Some of you may have heard of the Electronic Arts game Crysis 2 as we have been doing our best to provide with news of the game since before it was even released. Today we have yet more news about it this time it involves the fact that it is no longer included on the Steam download service.

The company EA has come forward today to announce that the decision to pull Crysis 2 from the platform was out of their hands and that it was Valve’s decision due to their new Steam regulations.

They felt they had to make this announcement as it was being speculated that EA themselves decided to remove the game to make way for their own digital download service, Origin.

This apparently was not the case and EA have now made that clear. A representative for the developers explained that the reason for the expulsion of the game was due to an agreement that Crytek had with another download service that violates Steam new regulations.

The game is still available to download on other similar services included EA’s Origin, Amazon and GameStop. Do you think these regulations that add exclusivity to Steam could lead to the expulsion of other games?

Back in 2006 Dell brought Alienware, this decision didn’t go down too well with three executives who decided to quit and set up their own gaming laptop manufacturer called Origin.

They have recently revealed their first laptop, this laptop has a customizable specification and is called the Eon 18.

This high-end gaming laptop features an 18.4″ full HD widescreen display, it also features 7.1 high-definition audio, dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 208M GPUs and up to three 250GB SSDs.

At the moment this laptop features a Core 2 Extreme Quad QX9300, however apparently there will be an Intel Core i7 version announced soon.

One disappointment is that the laptop will only offer up to 45 minutes of gaming from a full charge, however if this isn’t a problem for you it is a great purchase.
