California-based third party gaming peripheral manufacturer Nyko Technologies is forever unveiling new products during annual computer and video game and technology-related trade shows, and this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2011 event) is definitely no exception.

As Michael Gorman from engadget.com recently reported, Nyko introduced a number of new gaming accessories on Monday including Zoom for Kinect, the Play Clock, the Charge Base 3 for the PlayStation 3 console and three new extended battery packs for the Nintendo 3DS.

If you’re looking for a new charging dock for your PlayStation 3 controllers, then you might like Nyko’s stylish Charge Base 3 for PS3. The dock enables users to rapidly charge two PlayStation 3 controllers, and features magnetic charging adaptors to allow for easy charging.

Meanwhile, the Zoom for Kinect is a clip-on accessory with specially-designed lenses, which enables Kinect gaming in apartments and smaller rooms by reducing the distance that is required for the device to function correctly by up to forty percent.

How would you like to turn your Nintendo 3DS into an alarm clock? Well now you will be able to thanks to the new Play Clock for 3DS, which also serves as a charging dock and powered speaker system. It also comes with a built-in line-in port that allows users to hook up an MP3 player or other audio device.

If on the other hand you want to extend the battery life of your Nintendo 3DS, then you may like the Shock n’ Rock for 3DS. This 3DS add-on offers three times the battery life, and comes with 4 powered speakers, vibration feedback and an ergonomic design for comfort.

The other two extended battery pack options are the snap-on Game Boost backup battery that provides an extra 1-2 hours of battery life, and the Power Grip external battery, which also offers 3 x the battery life. Would you buy any of these gaming accessories?

There has definitely been no shortage of exciting announcements made at the CES 2011 event this week and if you’re a gamer like me, the recent Nyko unveiling may be of interest to you. The gaming peripheral manufacturer has just revealed its 2011 line-up, which includes a new Move gun.

According to a recent vg247.com article by Johnny Cullen, the new Nyko line-up includes a cooling fan for the Xbox 360 console, both the Raven Standard and Raven Alternative controllers for the PlayStation 3 and charging stations for the Xbox 360 and Move controllers.

The new PlayStation Move assault rifle – known as the “Power Shot for Move” – features a lightweight and ergonomic design for comfortable one-handed play. Although we don’t actually know a price at this stage, we do know that the “Power Shot for Move” will be released sometime in March.

As Darren Murph at engadget.com recently reported, the Raven Standard – which has exactly the same layout as the Sony controller – and the Raven Alternative (featuring an alternative configuration) controllers are available to buy in stores now, with both costing $34.99.

If you fancy buying yourself a charging station for your PlayStation Move controllers, then you may just like Nyko’s 2-port Charge Station for Move or the 4-port Charge Station Quad for Move. Both stations allow you to store and charge your Move and Navigation controllers at once.

The 2-port Charge Station is priced up at $19.99, while the 4-port is priced at $29.99. You can read the full list of Nyko products via engadget.com. Do any of these gaming peripherals take your fancy?
