For those not wanting the phone on contract, then the C3-01 is perfect as it is SIM-free. The price you pay from today is just £159 – been a while since we have spoken about a phone that cheap. What makes this handset stand out against the rest is how you not only get the traditional numbered keyboard, but a touchscreen as well.

The stainless steel finish makes the phone look and feel more expensive than it actually is, with Nokia telling us that it “looks and feels more like a sports car than a phone.” I hope that someone already has one of these so that they can verify this.

The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type is a little faster than most other phones when it comes to mobile data, as it has 3.5G. Other features include WLAN, FM Radio, 5-megapixel camera and support for a 32GB memory card.
