According to Ian Morris over at crave.cnet.co.uk, the Proporta TurboCharger 5000 will recharge virtually any mobile device including Nokia and Sony Ericsson smartphones, the Apple iPhone, the iPad tablet PC and even the Nintendo DS Lite handheld gaming system.

The great thing about this handy little battery pack – which is roughly the size of a pack of cards – is the fact that it can charge two devices at once. This of course means that you can recharge both your Apple iPad and iPhone at the same time (if you take both devices out with you that is).

On one end of the TurboCharger 5000 you will find a trio of USB ports. Two of them are outputs while the third is an input, which is used to charge the charging device. The TurboCharger 5000 from Proporta is currently on sale for £40 at Amazon.co.uk.
