Motorbike Guide 1.0 is available for owners of the iPhone, and iPod Touch.

Released by Naked Eye Productions Pty Ltd, the app has been created by an experienced motorbike expert and mechanic JR Bonner. The guide is great for the experienced rider or beginner with help performing mechanical inspections, and assess a bike’s condition whether at a dealership or private sale.

There are detailed checklists with easy to understand explanations, which a combined with quality pictures of mechanical components, electrics, frame and fairing. All makes, designs, models, and types of motorbikes are covered. Features show users how to test and check mechanics, body and condition of a bike.

JR Bonner said “When I first started riding, I bought many used bikes and a lot of the time they broke down half way home” JR laughs. “I spent many years doing bike inspections and I know what to look for. I wanted to use my experience to help fellow riders, especially the first timers, assess a bike before they buy it so they will get the best deal possible.”

Motorbike Guide 1.0 is available on the App Store for only $3.99. iOS 3.1 or later required.

We mentioned a few weeks ago that Paul Jr. parted with the company to start up Paul Jr. Designs; you may wonder why we would be talking about this? Well Paul recently built the Anti-Venom bike, and you will agree that it is an awesome looking machine.

Fans of American Chopper will know that this bike has a few design features from OCC’s Black Window Bike – this is not surprising as Paul Jr. designed that bike as well. You do not have to be a genius to understand the meaning of the name and look of the bike, which Eric Ellis from Hot Bike Web explains it in more detail and has a number of images

Most of the bike had to be designed by hand; this is because the workshop does not have all the machines that OCC has, such as the CNC machine. The wheels have much more detail to them than the Black Window, these have more depth and take on a 3D effect – something that is very popular at the moment.

It is great to see that Paul and his school friend Vinnie are working with each once again, but I believe that if they truly want to build better bikes, then they had better get Rick Petko to help with the gas tanks.
