As reported from VG247, ModNation Racers will be available in the UK on Friday May 21st, meaning that you’ll be able to play the game over the weekend, while U.S gamers wait till Tuesday 25th May.

It is not often that the UK celebrates such a big name title release before the US, so we have a feeling that you’ll be happy about this.

If you didn’t know, ModNation Racers is the next game in Sony’s “Play, Create, Share” motto which they first created with Media Molecule for LittleBigPlanet.

A PSP version is also in the works. Let us know your thoughts on this.

As reported from Eurogamer, ModNation Racers will be available on 25th May in North America, and 28th May in Europe – as usual.

Sony has also revealed the European box art for the game – which you can check out below. For those of you planning to pre-order this from GameStop, you’ll be pleased to know that there are various goodies on offer – such as a Kratos character and buggy!

Both versions are due this year and will feature the same ‘Play, Create Share’ slogan that Sony used for LittleBigPlanet.

As reported from Eurogamer, the PSP version will be pretty much the same as its PS3 counterpart, allowing you to create your own avatar and racetracks, then share them with your friends online.

It will feature single player and multiplayer, with Sony stating that up to 6 players will be able to take part in the fun over Ad-Hoc.
