Bing’s Search Market Share: Google, Safari, and IE

According to a report on AppleInsider Microsoft’s Bing search engine has such a low share of the market when compared to Google’s search that it is similar to the figures that are shown when Apple’s Safari browser is compared to Internet Explorer.
According to reports all of Microsoft’s search engines (MSN Search, Live Search, Windows Live Search, and Bing ) when combined only account for 5.9 percent of the market share, this figure was at around 14 percent in 2004.
Also reports stated that Apple’s Safari browser currently holds a 8.5 percent market share, this figure was around 1.5 percent in 2004.
