According to the report at MCV adverts for LEGO Batman 2 – Super Heroes appear in the featured booklet, listing the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS and Wii consoles as the platforms the new game is expected to appear on. The artwork that confirms the new game features other DC comic characters Wonder Woman and Superman, both of which are expected to get their own LEGO toy sets. The Joker, Lex Luther and Green Lantern are other DC characters that are also expected to get their own toy sets.

As MCV explains the new LEGO Super Hero range of toys, which includes characters from both DC Comics and Marvel Comics, is not due for official release until next year. The Marvel related toy sets are expected to arrive in time with the comic’s next movie The Avengers next summer and although there is no specific date for the Batman toy set arrival, it is reported to be arriving before the Marvel toy sets early next year.

Nothing official has been confirmed about the LEGO Batman 2 video game as of yet, despite it first being announced back in the summer by Warner Bros. Interactive. Speculation about the release date of the game suggests it may arrive with the release of the latest Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises, which is expected in July. The game features 23 classic levels, arcade mode, three boss levels, and Game Center leader board integration. Gamers can take control of Wolverine’s claws, capture enemies with Spider Man’s web, fend off blasts with Captain America’s shield, and much more.

After the application is purchased you will receive free updates and continuous support, which includes new Super Hero powers and villain bots. Marvel KAPOW! 1.0 is available worldwide on the App Store for only $1.99/£1.19. iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad required with iOS 4 or later.

We first told you about this game a long time ago, last year in fact and most recently, we gave you some information that the game will be out this Summer. However, we can now confirm that Captain America Super Soldier will be release on July 19th in the US, and July 15th in the UK on multiplatform.

The trailer is pretty generous at around 1 minute and 20 seconds long, and it also gives you a good look at the standard of graphics in the game. We admit that they aren’t amazing, and you may be pretty disappointed to hear that SEGA are once again at the helm of another Marvel movie-based game, especially since they murdered the Iron Man games. It could have been oh so different if someone like Rocksteady had been chosen instead.

Anyway, the game is out in July. Will you be picking it up, or is just seeing the movie enough for you? Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think of it.

One big change is that Sentinel’s health has been lowered from 1,300,000 to 905,000. Players were quite vocal in expressing their frustration at the huge amount of life Sentinel had and how he was very hard to defeat. Another change is that the Haggar/Spencer freeze glitch has been fixed.

A developmental error has also been patched dubbed “the Spencer Loop”, this would allow the player to repeat a combo which thrusts the opposing player into the air while giving Spencer the time to repeat his attack which leads to an infinite loop of carnage.

Another reported change is that hitstun deterioration on Akuma’s air Tatsu is now more severe. To see the full list of changes to Marvel vs Capcom 3 check out Shoryuken, the comments section is well-worth a quick read.

We are not sure when this update is being rolled out or if it has already hit Xbox Live / PSN, therefore we will have to keep you posted as we hear more.

The movie will be called X-Men First Class and it will explain the origins of both Professor Xavier and Magneto and how they became the characters which we all know and love.

As expected, there will also be a video game release to tie-in with the movie, and it’s no surprise to once again see Activision at the helm. We don’t know who will be developing the game yet, but we’re hoping that the game doesn’t turn out like all of the other movie game tie-ins, do we really have to remind you about Iron Man?

We’re optimistic that X-Men First Class will be a solid game for the Xbox 360 and PS3 though, as the developers only need to take a look at Batman: Arkham Asylum for ideas on how a superhero game should turn out to be. Judging by the trailer which you can see below, it looks like a lot of your favorite X-Men characters will be featured in the game, such as Nightcrawler, Mystique and Cyclops.

We would’t mind at all, if X-Men First Class went down the arcade path. By this we’re talking about an old-school co-op fighter with support for four players on screen at once – what do you think about this?

There are tons of ideas in which Activision can take First Class, we just hope they don’t go down the Iron Man route again – no-one wants to see that. Let us know what ideas you have for a successful X-Men game. Expect this to release during the Summer on multiplatform.

5,000 Marvel vs. Capcom 3 FightSticks have been produced by Mad Catz, apparently if you head over to the GameShark store in a few days time you should be able to buy yours, going on previous FightStick prices it will cost roughly $150 and will arrive before MvC3 comes out in North America (February 15th).

Below we have embedded a photo of Mad Catz’s Marvel vs. Capcom 3 FightStick, the Xbox 360 version will probably feature and an integrated headset port, also both the PS3 and 360 versions will undoubtedly feature authentic Sanwa Denshi buttons and joystick.

One comment on JoyStiq suggests that the FightStick is identical to the Street Fighter 4 FightStick the only difference being being the artwork, you can see a photos of the SF4 FightStick here along with a product description and full list of features, perhaps the MvC3 stick will be very similar.

We will be keeping a close on GameShark to see when the fightstick becomes available, when we find out we will keep you posted. How much are you willing to spend on a Marvel vs. Capcom 3 FightStick?

So who is she you ask? Well Laura Kinney Aka X-23 is a product of Weapon X, just like Wolverine and Deadpool. X-23 has adamantium claws like Wolverine, but has two blades, instead of Wolverine’s three. She is also thought to have faster Healing Factor than Wolverine, and has claws on her feet too.

We were surprised as you were when Marvel announced X-23 to the roster for Marvel Vs Capcom 3. It is going to be great to see her up against Wolverine, or even as a partnership if you prefer.
