For those of you who have a MagSafe adapter for your MacBook, and wish you can have something similar for your mobile Apple products, somthing could be coming soon.

John Brownlee of Cult of Mac is reporting that MagSafe connecters have been spotted for Patently Apple. They were spotted for mobile devices buried deep in Apple’s patent filings. Charging your mobile device with a small version of MagSafe is quite easy to imagine.

The timing of the patent is more interesting, it was only done last June but on October 7 the USPTO published a continuation application for the same. This patent may differ from the standard CYA patents which never see the light of day as Apple seem to be pushing hard for this one. So hopefully we could see a MagSafe on the iPhone 5 or iPad 2.

Do you have a MagSafe for your MacBook?
