Madden 11 Release Date Finally Here: Your problems

Madden 11 has finally arrived and to help celebrate its release date, a huge event in New Orleans took place on Monday night. It was certainly a special evening with a party thrown in true Mardi Gras-style – we just hope that the game does not have the problems that are usually associated with new game releases.

According to NFL, the new game from the Madden franchise features Drew Brees on the cover so was only natural that he was in New Orleans for the release party. The demo did not get off to a great start though so we hope that this full game will do better.

Madden was a good game, but this latest version offers a number of tweaks to make it easier for those not very good at the game. Let us hope that this will not come at a price for all those hardcore Madden fans. However, the best feature has to be Online Team Mode – allowing up to six players at any one time.

Madden 11 Review Round-Up: NFL For PS3 and Xbox 360

Earlier today we posted a story on Madden NFL 11 and the game’s best overall players, and with the game launching within hours we thought it’s time for a Madden 11 review round-up.

The game will be on multiply platforms, which include PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, 3DS, PSP, PS2, and Apple’s iOS. We have found three detailed reviews of Madden 11, and each gives their own twist on what looks to be an extremely fun game.

MTV Multiplayer ask if faster games are better games, and their Madden 11 review looks at the basics, highs and lows, and in their verdict they explain how Madden is the best football simulation game. MTV loved the improvements to O-line and the running game, which create a more fun, complex, and authentic game.

Kotaku says Madden NFL 11 will give you a run for your money, the review is wrote in their unique style, explaining what they love and hate about the latest version of Madden. They found the game to be “loads of fun”, but complain about Gameflow and the problems with defense.

The third review you may want to read is from VG Revolution, they found Madden 11 pros to include new sideline and back endzone catches, the cut scenes, lighting system, dual stick controls, and the new locomotion system. VGR did not like the choppy commentary and found the replay transitions were off at times.

With the official release of Madden 11 just a few days away we thought some readers would appreciate knowing the game’s best overall players, so carry on reading to find out top-rated players with their stats.

Here are the top 8 overall best players on the game, six players have a rating of 99 these are Chris Johnson – HB, Patrick Willis – MLB, Darrelle Revis – CB, Jared Allen – RE, Drew Brees – QB and Peyton Manning – QB. Just behind the best six are Ryan Clady – LT and Adrian Peterson – HB, both have an overall plater rating of 98.
