You will know right away that Apple looked to the iPad for inspiration to bring the feel to all Mac OS X devices, and it is the Multi-Touch gestures that stand out the most. The Multi-Touch experience is said to be more fluid and very responsive, something that we have come to expect from Apple, as they were the ones who offered the ultimate touch experience to the smartphone with the iPhone back in 2007.

Features that Mac OS X users will be pleased to see on Lion are page and image zoom, rubber-band scrolling and also full-screen swiping; all these features will make you feel closer and more in control of your OS and the computer itself. Certain tasks will now be much easier, such as switching from one application to another, as well as zooming in on a webpage.
