This new optical drive is the Lite-On iHAS52, full details are currently unclear, however we can confirm that certain media will be writeable at 24x (probably DVD+R and DVD-R), we can also confirm that it will support Lite-On LabelTag.

For those of you who are unaware, LabelTag is a similar idea to LightScribe, it allows you to add professional-looking labels to your discs, you can find fully detailed information about LabelTaghere.

The drive is apparently available now, however I could not find it listed on Amazon, BestBuy or any other online retailer, therefore I would imagine it will arrive over the next few days, Lite-On say that the drive will have a estimated retail price of $39.99.
