Linux developer’s new kernel patch and FAT patent

ArsTechnica are reporting that a Linux developer has created a new kernel patch which could possibly allow the FAT filesystem on Linux without paying Microsoft licensing fees. At this time it is still unconfirmed whether or not this will defiantly not infringe Microsoft patents, we will keep you updated as we find out more. Read more
