Singer Adele Reveals Her Female Supergroup Plans

Could there be a female super group in the making? Singer Adele has said that if she were to create a super group with Kate Nash, Katie Melua and Amy Winehouse, it would be the best in the world.

The singer, who shot to fame with her single Chasing Pavements, is keen to form a band with all the successful female artists that were educated at Croydon’s Brith School Institution.

Talking to WENN, Adele said the group would,

“represent most women in the world. If we were in a band I think it would be the best band ever. We’re not afraid to speak our minds, [and] you don’t need to be a doll with tanned legs, blonde hair, big boobs and good lips.”

Adele has also said she’d want Lily Allen to feature in the Supergroup.

Lily Allen is being treated at a London clinic for depression

It has been reported that Lily Allen was heartbroken after suffering a miscarriage in January and then splitting from Ed Simons is now seeking professional help at a top facility for depression.

A friend of Lily has said that “The last couple of months have been really hard for Lily. She was so happy to be pregnant and was willing to give up her showbiz life to settle down and have a family. Her miscarriage was a huge blow and she hasn’t really recovered. She has tried to put on a brave face but she found she needed to get some profession help. She is responding well and is pleased she is being allowed to film her TV chat show ‘Lily Allen and Friends’ and to keep in touch with the friends supporting her.”
