Lexus Recall 2010: Toyota’s new list and credit rating

We reported to you yesterday that Toyota had started its worldwide recall of the Crown and Lexus vehicles. 92,000 units is just the start, but it is expected that there will be 270,000 worldwide recalls in total. This latest recall is having adverse affect on Toyota’s credit rating.

We were shocked to hear that the Lexus GX 460 has been considered to be unsafe in a recent consumer report. The SUV has been giving a “Don’t Buy” warning, it seems that the vehicle could rollover – something that was found out during a routine handling test.

As you may or may not know Lexus who are better known for their large, soft riding luxury cars have released an exclusive LFA supercar for the road. The road car powered by a 4.8 litre V10 and pushing out 552 bhp is also dripping with electronic toys.
